I use about 1/2 cap to full cap depending on the load size and the scent is fresh and clean but not over powering. I tend to wash most items on cold and these still work. They don't always dissolve completely before I toss the clothes in but they always work. I use these with all laundry loads and have never had an issue with whites becoming discolored. The laundry smells fresh even when wet and after drying in the dryer the clothing/sheets/towels all retain most of that extra fresh scent.

My favorite way to use this is when washing jeans and sweatshirts, it provides a lasting freshness that I enjoy. I find jeans to not always hold the scent of just my detergent so using this is a great way to boost the freshness. I like that you can adjust the amount of product that you use to adjust the amount of scent you get. If you want a lighter smell, just use less. Downy unstopables has a great scent that pleasantly lingered on my clothes making them smell fresh and clean. My laundry smelled so good and the scent lasted. I plan on purchasing this product to always have in my laundry room.

After wearing, sweating a few times in his clothes it felt like I could just never get the stench out of the workout clothes. I started using this downy unstopables in the laundry loads with the workout cloths and the results are amazing!!! Finally a product that covers the horrific workout smell!!! If you struggle with this same issue I highly recommend you try this product. We all like the smell so much that we also use in the laundry loads with our bedding and the best part is you smell it every time you get into bed and that smell lasts for days after washing!!

I've pulled a shirt out of my drawer 2 weeks later and still can smell the clean fragrance. It dissolves completely without leaving any residue on my laundry.
