I don't plan to use it in every load of laundry, as it is an extra expense added to my laundry cost, so I'll be saving it for items that I want to make sure have an extra boost of freshness, like bedding, towels, jackets, etc, or occasionally as an extra little something if my mood needs a boost.

Put a little or more into the cap and toss it into the washer before you put your laundry. You don't need to put any liquid softener. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed this product! It has a very nice scent. That said, it's really strong, so I only used about 1/4 of how much is recommended. It still left behind a really pleasant scent that lasted between washes. I was also surprised at how good a job it did at knocking back wrinkles, especially for our cotton clothing. I'll definitely be adding this to the grocery list. I only hope that they eventually sell a refill pouch so I can cut back on plastic use.
