I thought the smell would be too strong and too chemically, or that it would make my clothes feel weird. Instead I found it to provide the perfect level of scent with no stiffness/tackiness to the clothing (or in my case, towels and sheets). I think I prefer other scents to this - I especially like the "light" scent versions - but the performance was great.
