It does get smelly, and we frequently wash the couch, cushions, and covers. We used the product and it extended how nice the couch ended up smelling. The scent was light, but enough. My dog didn’t mind the scent, he frequently rejects most smells when it comes to laundry products.

We have to include this with all of our loads! Been using these beads for a couple years now and love this scent in particular. Doesnt take the smell out of stinky items but I love the smell of our towels, bedding and jammies after they come out of the dryer. We use wool dryer balls, lavender oil and no fabric softener so this product is perfect for us. Love love love the new cap design (less plastic waste).
