Praline Perfection!

I came across these delightful tastebud friends last holiday season. I’m embarrassed to say our family went through multiple jars and stocked up at the end of the season. It was a long wait for them to come back this year. Who says buttery candied praline goodness can’t be year round? They are truly delicious. “Professional” tidbit…the small broken pieces (when the jar is “empty”) are not trash! They make a perfect ice cream or muffin topper!

Better if purchased at club

If you buy these at the club they’re five stars, I rated them a four only because on my recent club trip they were out of stock so I decided to order online. Half of the container were mostly crushed pecans. I don’t know if this was due to the handling during shipping. But besides this I would definitely recommend good item at a great price.

Pecans From Paradise

These pecans are the best food item we've ever purchased from Sam's . I knew they wouldn't last long so I ordered two (after buying one in our store here). Considering the price, these treats are a bargain. I bought them online, since they were sold out here when we returned to get more, and the transaction went flawlessly.

Wow!! These are Remarkable…

Have you ever had Fresh Warm Praline Pecans from a vendor at a carnival, fair, or flea market? If you have and loved them as much as I do, buy these, put a handful in a cup, microwave for 30 seconds, and enjoy! Seems to only be available around the Christmas holidays, so stock up, because once you tried them you will want more…

Kinda boring flavor

Of course these are very good but I personally had some issues with them. I think a little cinnamon or some sort of warm spice would have made them so much better. After eating just 1 or 2 they are almost, bland? Nothing but sweet. They are very indulgent and rich but I wouldn't buy this particular brand or flavor again.

Delicious! Only seasonally available though.

These pecans are delicious! Too bad they are only available for a limited time. I bought some last year around Christmas, and went back for more but they weren’t available. Same thing this year. Only seem to be sold right before Christmas. They weren’t even available online.

Pecans too chewy, no crunch.

They are not like I remember them from last years Thanksgiving/Christmas Candied Pecans that I bought. I just purchased 2 containers and I am very disappointed. This years product is chewy and not crunchy. They taste stale, like they have been exposed to moisture. They are sticking together as well. Also, when I opened one of the containers someone had stuck their finger to break the seal and apparently try the pecans. I will be returning.

Can't stop eating them. Want to buy more please!

These are so good- Opened a container and gone in no time. Hard to stop eating them. Went back to store to buy more plus extras for Christmas gifts but store sold out. Added to shopping cart to ship but when checkout says unavailable to ship. Please bring them back and carry them year round.. They are amazingly tasty and great price.

Another Sam's Club Winner!

These are excellent. If you like Praline Pecans, you'll be happy you bought these. It isn't a giant container, but the pricing is decent for the amount of pralines. They are hard to stop eating, but even if you eat a bunch, you've not made a huge dent, although I suppose that depends on individual sweet tooth tolerances. Nice balance of sweet and salty, not too sickly sweet and the sodium content is OK. I always check sodium and I don't like things where the first flavor is either salt or sugar, so I can safely say these meet the top not is what it should be, well rounded pecan plus a well designed praline recipe. I'm impressed and will keep buying as long as Sam's keeps selling these.

Calling this a healthy snack is dishonest

This is closer to a sugar delivery system with pecans as the carrier than it is to a nut product. THE GOOD • Pecans are the primary ingredient. That matters. Pecans are real food with healthy fats, minerals, and some fiber. • Butter and sea salt are real ingredients, not synthetic flavor substitutes. • No artificial colors or artificial sweeteners. • Short ingredient list compared to many packaged snacks. THE BAD • Sugar is the second ingredient, followed immediately by brown sugar and corn syrup. That tells you where the calories really come from. • 16 g of added sugar per 34 g serving. That is 31 percent of the daily limit in a quarter cup. • Only 2 g of fiber despite being a nut based product. Sugar processing strips the benefit. • 190 calories per serving with very low satiety due to sugar dominance. • High oleic sunflower oil listed as a processing aid. That is still industrial seed oil exposure. THE EVIL • This is a classic corporate inversion. A healthy base food is coated in multiple sugars to make it addictive and margin rich. • Sugar plus fat plus salt is the exact hyperpalatable triad used to override appetite regulation. • Corn syrup is added even though it serves no culinary purpose other than cost and texture manipulation. • The serving size is artificially small. Few people stop at one quarter cup. Two servings means 32 g added sugar. • Marketed as a premium nut product while nutritionally behaving like candy. Just because something is sweet does not mean it is harmless. Sweetness is a delivery mechanism, not a safety signal. Sugar masks metabolic damage the same way flavor masks toxins. This product works because it tastes good, not because it is good for you. WHAT THIS TELLS YOU If this were made for health or even honest food, the ingredient list would be: Pecans, butter, salt. Sugar would be optional and minimal. Instead, sugar leads because sugar is cheap, addictive, shelf stable, and profitable. BOTTOM LINE This is candy pretending to be a nut snack. Pecans are doing the nutritional heavy lifting while sugar does the business work. Occasional use is a choice. Calling this a healthy or even neutral snack is dishonest.
