I recently purchased bagels from Sam’s Club and found that some were labeled with a “best used by” date just two days away (June 15) and others only six days away (June 19). For a bulk purchase, I expect items to have a reasonable shelf life, but this was unacceptable. I don’t always have the time to inspect every date while shopping, and I feel like this reflects poor inventory management. Customers shouldn’t have to deal with near-expired items unless explicitly labeled as such. Very disappointing—this experience makes me question the freshness of their products and overall quality control.

Bagels had mold a day before the best-before date. Returned them.

They were molded and did get to eat them.

They go moldy within a few days if they are not refrigerated

These bagels are very good. I was actually surprised. Would buy again.

Purchased for pick up. Bagels were not fresh. Would not have purchased if I was in the club.

These bagels make a great breakfast. They are not as chewy as bagels I am used to, but the flavor is spot on.
