I am 50 years old and still getting a period. In the last few years I have been experiencing heavier periods than normal. So when I saw this and it mentioned it could help with heavy periods I figured I would give it a try. Well I started my first pack on a Sunday during my last period. Everything was going ok until this cycle started. I started 1 day prior to the "placebo pills" would be taken. It was light, similiar to the previous cycle I had, but here I am in week 2 of a "period" and my flow has been horrible to say the least! The last few days have been heavier than normal, prior to taking the pills I would clot so it wouldn't run so fast (TMI, sorry) but now it if flowing so heavy it isn't even having time to clot. Needless to say, I won't be taking these anymore. I'm over having periods at this point!

It does exactly what I need it to do, but I was hoping to have lighter periods, less acne, less PMS symptoms etc. These are all more just personal preferences and "wants" so it's okay if this pill doesn't work in that way. This is only my 2nd month taking it though, so maybe it will eventually catch up with my hormones.

I have been taking opill for over a month now and it has been amazing! I personally haven't experienced any side effects like I used to with my old birth control I took years ago that had estrogen. I also absolutely love that anyone can just buy this over the conter! It was beyond convenient for me because my husband and I dont have insurance, so I haven't been able to go to the doctor just to obtain a prescription

I haven’t had any negative side affects, I’ve had a pimple or two pop up out of nowhere but that’s it.. I love this birth control pill and I’m so glad it’s so affordable, effective and easily available! It’s worth the hassle of taking a pill every day because of the simple fact that I haven’t had any negative side effects which has been my problem in the past.. also the pill is super tiny and easy to take :)

This pill is cost effective and easy to obtain, those are the main pros of this specific contraceptive for me! I have experienced painful & more frequent bleeding with my menstrual cycle but I am only approximately a month in and hopeful that will taper off.

I bought this for my grandson's girlfriend whose parents won't provide birth control for her. It is against my personal ethics to interfere in other parents' decisions. However, I won't have either of these young people's bright futures destroyed because of a young pregnancy. I gave birth at 17. I adore my daughter AND it destroyed my life. I'm relieved that, should these two young people decide to have sex, they have protection. I also bought him a large pack of condoms so they can use them in conjunction with the Opill.

It's been almost a full month of taking Opill and I love it! I've had no problems with this birth control and I'm very happy about it. I wish Opill was around sooner! I've had the shot, nexplanon implant as well as taken other bc pills and Opill is definitely has been the best option for me. 10/10 would recommend! No hair falling out or mood swings and it's actually help regulate my period so far. :)

Disappointed in the packaging. No stickers for days of the week if you start the pack any other day but Sunday and no protective storage cover, even if it was cardboard for travel so the foil wrap isn't damaged or even just sits on a counter to be more discrete

First thing, this may will make you seek more fun (if you know what I mean). I've been taking it for 6 months, and it works as expected, i take one at the same time every day as it says (so it's as effective as stated when you take it correctly). The bad thing is that i gain extra weight more easily on lower belly; about pms, 1st my mood changes are a little more intense some months, and 2nd my breasts are more tender. About my menstruation, i am irregular and the first months taking it I had periods too short (16 days apart) and too long (40 days apart) but after 4 month they get in the middle (26 -29 days apart)
