I tried Opill for 2 months before I decided it wasn't for me. My period arrived on time and for a week, was very light. I was excited but then the 2nd week came and I started bleeding very heavily for the entire 2nd week. I have no complaints as far as weight gain or mood changes. For me, the uncertainty of the period length made me decide to stop taking it.

I'm not sexually active, but take Opill to make my period lighter. I know Opill isn't really supposed to have that effect (as I didn't realize until after I bought my first dose), but it works for me. I can leave a tampon in for 8 hours without it leaking. I previously took hormonal birth control, but it made my breasts bigger, which I didn't like. Opill doesn't have that effect. My periods on Opill are very irregular and happen more often than they used to, but I'll take light, irregular periods over heavy, regular periods any day.

I’m on my second month of taking Opill. The first time I bought it, the packaging was factory sealed but empty. I got it replaced. Other than that, it seems to be working! Everyone is different and our bodies will react to substances in unique manners. Side effects happen. I didn’t have any the first month. This month, I’ve dealt with a few of the common “issues” that can come with taking the pill. This is to be expected. I’ll continue to buy this product. I’m glad women’s rights are being honored with this first ever OTC adaptation to a primarily intrusive process for a prescription based contraceptive. .

I’m beyond glad that this is finally available without a prescription that forces invasive pelvic exams. I am using it primarily to lighten my insanely heavy periods, and off-label for perimenopausal symptoms. The side effects are worth it to me. It gave me a minor yeast infection at first and a few skin acne breakouts, but it evened out. To be fair any brand pill gives me breakouts at first. I live in a state where getting reproductive care is hard. Planned Parenthood and all the usual options to get low cost birth control were chased out our state by fanatics. So for times like this when I’m between jobs and don’t have health insurance, it’s crucial that I have access to something easily accessible that’ll handle my reproductive health. And I appreciate that the price is still low. I went from needing to change an Ultra tampon every two hours to changing a regular tampon every 7 hours. My cramps went from unbearable to literally nonexistent. It’s quite a noticeable difference and changes my quality of life. I hope this doesn’t get regulated again behind a prescription paywall. I NEED it. I’m not sexually active so I can’t speak on whether it works for that.

Opill is a pretty good pill. Opill is my 9th birth control that I've tried since I was 18 and I'm about to be 24. Opill is the only pill that I can tolerate and side effects go away pretty quickly and is nothing too bad to not handle. I'm about to start pill pack 2 on Sunday, July 20th. I'm pretty impressed with this pill brand. I will definitely continue to update my review every , but month. I don't know about pregnancy prevention with it just yet, but I always take my Opill on time and every day

This product is not for me. When I begin to take it I noticed I was spotting so I kind of expected it so I carried on and then I was bleeding for a week so then I tried to be patient but the bleeding continued so I finally stopped. This might be perfect for some but for me who is 48 it is not. I will be going back to the morning after pill. I will say in a joking manner because of the bleeding it prevented me from having sex so my chances of getting pregnant was spot on lol.

I am 50 years old and still getting a period. In the last few years I have been experiencing heavier periods than normal. So when I saw this and it mentioned it could help with heavy periods I figured I would give it a try. Well I started my first pack on a Sunday during my last period. Everything was going ok until this cycle started. I started 1 day prior to the "placebo pills" would be taken. It was light, similiar to the previous cycle I had, but here I am in week 2 of a "period" and my flow has been horrible to say the least! The last few days have been heavier than normal, prior to taking the pills I would clot so it wouldn't run so fast (TMI, sorry) but now it if flowing so heavy it isn't even having time to clot. Needless to say, I won't be taking these anymore. I'm over having periods at this point!

It does exactly what I need it to do, but I was hoping to have lighter periods, less acne, less PMS symptoms etc. These are all more just personal preferences and "wants" so it's okay if this pill doesn't work in that way. This is only my 2nd month taking it though, so maybe it will eventually catch up with my hormones.

I have been taking opill for over a month now and it has been amazing! I personally haven't experienced any side effects like I used to with my old birth control I took years ago that had estrogen. I also absolutely love that anyone can just buy this over the conter! It was beyond convenient for me because my husband and I dont have insurance, so I haven't been able to go to the doctor just to obtain a prescription
