I was drawn to Opill because it’s affordable, over-the-counter, and doesn’t require a prescription or subscription—especially after losing medical coverage. I liked that it comes with a three-month supply and was easy to stay consistent with. I have PCOS and deal with pelvic pain, and Opill actually helped ease the discomfort I usually feel throughout the month. I didn’t experience any noticeable side effects while taking it, which was a big plus. The only downside for me was not always knowing when my cycle would start, even with taking it at the same time daily. Surprisingly, my cycle felt more regulated after stopping. Overall, it was a helpful and accessible option during a time when traditional birth control wasn’t available to me.

It did what it says it will do and is a contraceptive. I will say that early on in trying the O-pill, I experienced bleeding and spotting for about 2 weeks. (and I've never had that issue with other brands) I didn't love that part! but aside from that, it works well.

Doesn’t cause any discomfort, acne or affect menstrual cycle. I try to take it at the same time every day but sometimes I forget, so I take it as soon as I remember either later in the day or the next day. It still works well and give me and my husband the contraceptive solution we need. It’s pretty impressive that we can now get this over the counter. No need to go back for PaP smear.

I will say I did get more cramping than normal on this vs prescribed. However , no babies ! If you are able to remember to take it everyday this is a good option for you

Its a low dose so it keeps my period regular and i have no noticed many side effects that typically come with birth control.
