While it’s not as effective as the combination pill for my particular needs, it’s still great to have as a backup and be able to purchase over the counter. I’m also happy that it did not give me bad side effects as other bc pills have in the past (mood swings, anxiety). Overall, I would definitely use this if I couldn’t get a prescription to my regular pill.

You need to take this consistently at the same time for it to be effective and that’s the hardest part. Even with a timer some days were hard to remember.
