This one is a great option for over the counter use without having to see a doctor for a prescription. I did start this after another contraceptive and I think switching skewed my cycle slightly but I didn’t notice any side affects out of the ordinary. Like a said, easy to get without an Rx and easy to use. Side note: the order you take them is on the back of the packaging so if you’re looking at the pill side it looks backwards which would throw me off sometimes haha

The only down side in my opinion is the dose timing is directly linked to effectiveness when taking a non estrogen pill. So for someone who is not as regimented this could be an issue. I will say when taking this i did not experience any side effects personally. Also like how tiny the mini pill is. Give it a try! Truly a game changer without a prescription.

I've had no bad side effects, but the first week I took it I did experience a little tiredness the first couple of days. I powered through it and now I have absolutely no side effects. It did shorten my period a little bit, no complaints here! So far I recommend this product 100! No pregnancy, and no horrible periods.

When purchasing the Opill, you do not need a prescription, and that is super convenient. I appreciate that the Opill is progesterone only, and has no estrogen. Another thing I love is that each package has a batch number for that specific box. If you have an issues, the manufacturer can trace your product. The Opill is easy to take each day, and as soon as the last pill is taken, you can start a new pack immediately. The cons: If you miss a pill and its been less than 3 hrs, you can still take it. However, if more than 3 hours, you must take it immediately & the next day. The Opill does require you to be strict about remembering times, because it contains no estrogen. However, I always recommend a back up method, such as condoms. Another thing is dosage changes. You will need physician guidance if you think you need dosage changes . The things I loved: When buying, you can get up to 3 months at a time much cheaper than a doctors visit. Its very cost effective. Personally, I tolerated the pill well. I did not have any spotting, acne, weight gain, or any other issues. Overall, I loved the pill. I just have to make sure to stay on time, and set alarms or reminders. Its a great option.
