The norgestrel tablets worked for me because they are of consistent strength and not a stepping process throughout the month. They work to balance hormones and menstrual cycles. I generally feel much more balanced on a BC system like this.

Recently, before I tried Opill, I got off my prescription and was looking for another option. I love the convenience of getting Opill. So much easier than getting a prescription. Unfortunately though, the pill didn’t work for me…not on the contraceptive side of things but on the side effects side of things. I noticed some pretty major hair loss, skin blemishes/pimples, and hormone/immune system flare ups. On my period, I also had heavy cramps and pain—which I hadn’t had in years. All in all, for some I think it’s a great option. But for me, it unfortunately isn’t something I’ll be moving forward with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Opill is a great option for birth control it is a progestrin only birth control pill which at first made me nervous since it did not contain estrogen and let’s just say my husband and I are a great genetic match and are at our limit with kids. But after trying opill the past three months I am happy overall with the pill. You do have to take it at the same time everyday and be extra careful because there is no estrogen so no wiggle room to miss or take a pill late. I’ve had less side effects compared to the traditional pill but it did affect my cycle and I bled for two weeks when I first got on it. I think for anyone who doesn’t have insurance or can’t afford the pill or maybe you just wanna try something new I recommend trying. As with all new forms birth control use other contraceptives especially if you are nervous about getting pregnant. @ecstasyanduphoria

The pills is available in my local pharmacy and I don’t need to have a prescription for it. I still have my period and cramps. i’ve been on this birth control method for about 2 months, i haven’t gotten pregnant! but my periods are extremely painful and happening LITERALLY every other week. my cramping has gotten worse, to the point it’s almost unbearable and getting in the way of my work.

I started opill 6 months ago because I don’t have access to other birth control pills. And it has been great! It’s helped tremendously with my terrible period cramps as well as regulating my cycle! I also haven’t gained any weight or had bad sides effects and would totally recommend it! I also love how it doesn’t have estrogen!!

I was consistent and took it for three months, but in the end I don’t think I would purchase these. The cup is really cute….Wish I was a little bigger.

I'm going three months without any side effects and my cramps don't seem to be as bad as before. Cheap and easy to get. As for performance, so far so good I definitely recommend it
