I start month 3 of Opill on Sunday, August 17th! Side effects have come and gone, but I'm currently experiencing more frequent bleeding, but I know it's the adjustment phase and I'm giving it a lot more time before I decide to call it quits. If you read about Opill, it is known to cause regular bleeding, more frequent bleeding, less frequent bleeding, heavier bleeding, lighter bleeding, or no bleeding at all. I take Opill exactly at 8 am every morning and I'm never a minute early or a minute past 8 am. Opill has been the only birth control pill I've been able to tolerate. But being over the counter is a start specially for the women who may not have access to ins to obtain birth control ! It acts like a normal BC pill and helps prevent pregnancy but would always recommend a second form of protection. Nothing is 100% effective

This does not at all! It is such a small pill that is so easy to take and so far I have not experienced any side effects! I am so glad we finally live in the future. I switched from the combination pill to this minipill and have loved the change. I dont need a prescription, which means I don't have to waste a day going to an insurance approved doctor. I can just got to the store, grab what I need and be on my way. This option is revolutionary for my lifestyle. I've been taking it for 4 months and so far, it's working! It's also inexpensive. My insurance covers 100% of the price of my BC but it still means that I have to spend so much time, waiting in a doctor's office just to get refills. That is a waste of time and money. Now I have even more options and I love that. I will definitely be purchasing this product in the future.

So after an IUD removal in 2022, I needed some form of BC. Due to minor complications with the IUD, I decided to give the pill a chance. I’m a woman in her mid 40’s, and since the IUD removal, I’ve had 3 periods since 2022. I’m pretty sure I’m perimenopausal but I could still be ovulating, so when I found this product I was ecstatic. The price is very affordable, which is a blessing for those without insurance. No prescription required. I have noticed a few side effects, although they are very mild and manageable. I had a bit of mood swings, some increased appetite, and breast tenderness. No changes in menstruation though, or in my case, lack of.

I take it at night just before bed. Pros are you can order online or pick up in store without having to see your doctor because you don’t need a prescription, they are easy to take and did not cause me any stomach aches. For a three month supply I found the cost to be affordable. Cons- during the first month I did experience some acne breakouts on the jawline. But this subsided after continued usage. Also I notice that I spotted a couple. of additional days after my menstrual. Nothing a liner couldn’t help! Overall I had a great experience with OPill!
