Which is fine, I’m sure they work great for the target audience I’m just not it.

It's a progestin mini pill to take once a day daily around the same time. You can get this without a prescription from a doctor or having to make a dr appointment. This easy to swallow pill helps prevent pregnancy by thickening cervical mucus which blocks out sperm. From reproducing. It can also prevent eggs from being released. This doesn't take effect until after 48 hours from taking the first dose. So using other preventive alternatives until than should be taken to prevent pregnancy. This actually got my cycle regulated. And I noticed I haven't bled on my cycle as much.

It wasn’t unbearable but left me wishing I went back to my normal doctor prescribed contraceptive as my periods were lighter and more controllable. It does work though and I’ve had unprotected sex since taking for three months.

As long as you remember to take it daily, around the same time, even if it's a lower/mini pill version it'll be just an effective. I love how it came with a pouch & water cup! The reason I have not taken birth control in so long is that the ones I had taken in the past had really messed me up and I have not seen the value in it over the effects. So after many many years, I had the opportunity to try Opill and after reading up on it, I was pretty excited to try it and see what it had to offer me. I am currently three months into taking Opill and I'd love to tell you about all the positive changes that came along with it. Before I started birth control I noticed my periods were getting out of hand. This hasn't always been the case but at least for the last 3 years. Most of them would be 6-7 days long. I had very heavy periods, especially for the first 4 days. I would bleed non-stop and have to constantly change my tampon. I would have horrible cramping and it seemed the first few days I would just crawl in my bed and do nothing. I would be stuck at home unable to attend much of anything, I would be so miserable. So, I decided I'd take a chance on this Opill. Three months in and I can tell you that my periods are cut back to 4-5 days max. My cramping has cut back tremendously and I feel so much better during my menstrual cycle. Before my hormones would have me so emotional and angry, some days I felt psychotic! In the last three months, I have felt like a completely new person. I am extremely grateful to have found this new birth control. I feel like I have a new lease on life. Another great factor about this birth control is that you can buy it over the counter for a very reasonable price. You don't have to see a doctor, make an appointment or have a screening. It's easily accessible without a hassle!
