First, the fact that we now offer Birth Control OTC for women who do not have insurance, who may be young and who may just feel extremely uncomfortable seeing a OBGYN, is AMAZING! The price is extremely reasonable and it works! No major side effects, a little more hungry at first for myself but leveled out and my periods are not as heavy as before. I give this 1000 thumbs up.

I get a Pap smear every 3 years and thats really the only time I go to the doctor (unless they want me to come in before renewing my birth control 🙄) The convenience of this pill is it’s #1 appeal for me. I am very good at taking my pill the same time everyday.. a must for pills like this. The only issue I had was weight gain. I’m talking 15 pounds in three months! My diet and exercise are pretty consistent, the only change was with this new pill. I’m curious to see if I lose the weight when I go back to my old pill.

Birth control can affect everyone differently but for me I had no weight gain, mood swings or breast tenderness. There were no changes in my cycle besides lighter periods during my placebo days.

The norgestrel tablets worked for me because they are of consistent strength and not a stepping process throughout the month. They work to balance hormones and menstrual cycles. I generally feel much more balanced on a BC system like this.

I switched to it from a different birth control because I needed something that I could get easily and regularly. I was on a pill that regulated my periods so when starting opill, I had no clue what my cycle would be. it was very hard to keep track at first. I'm used to it being scheduled with the pills so now I was forced to keep track again with my own calendar. all the pills are the same color so there's no indication that a period would be coming. it'll take about 2-3 months to figure out. One thing I noticed was that I didn't have horrible cramps and pain as usual. Unfortunately it did make me gain weight, something I was working towards fixing for a while. The pills are so small and easy to pop in your mouth and swallow. One thing I didn't like it that you need to swallow it quick or else it starts dissolving in your mouth. it dissolving scared me because I wasn't sure of that meant it would work or not. So far it had been working and preventing the ovulation process. it also had keep my face clear and acne free. If you have no problem regulating your periods and need a hood birth control, Opill is great for that.

I found that I did not have any negative side effects and in fact had lighter periods when that time came during the use of this contraceptive. I'm also very much not pregnant so I find that it does what it is supposed to do. The packaging was cute as well and came with a lil pouch to hold the packets.

My BC has made it so I have more symptoms, but a much more tolerable pain as opposed to just cramps that make me feel like I'm dying.
