The negatives are that the material has a lot of chemicals, and the packaging is plastic. The pads are also quite thick.

There was no urine smell but I change quickly. Each pad is individually wrapped for privacy. There was some slight shifting when the pad was wet. In reality the pad fit well even though it was so big for my underwear.
