- 5 out of 5 stars review3/5/2023[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t expecting the box to contain so many Reese eggs so when I opened it and saw so many I was pleasantly surprised. This is a great value for that reason alone! But, the packaging was cute and sturdy. The chocolate was fresh, creamy and delicious. It has the perfect peanut butter to chocolate ratio to make them perfect. The only bad thing is that they leave you wanting more once they’re all gone!

The perfect combination of chocolate and peanut butter that only Reese's Peanut Butter Cups could provide. But these Reese's Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Hearts are sure to give those cups a run for their money. I mean, the hearts are almost more perfect for inducing chocolate-peanut-butter-bliss, with the easy-to-chomp bottom of the heart, and the two "handlebars" up top to split into two final bites. I can't imagine another holiday as perfect for Reese's milk chocolate and peanut butter as Valentine's Day (except maybe Easter, Halloween, Christmas, Festivus, Thursday, sunny days, cloudy days, days when there's weather...).

As soon as I have opened them the chocolate has a dull whiteness to it and the peanut butter is dry and crumbly. It literally breaks my heart since I have loved Reese’s since I was a kid. I even tried looking for a BB date and tried to find one that wasn’t within the next couple of months. But have had no luck finding ones that weren’t stale. Really wish I could find some that were still edible.

I am somewhat of an expert on Reese's. Can we just all agree that this should be made year round??? I love these so much, that I have literally started my own phrase to show my children how much I love them - instead of "to the moon and back", I tell my kids "I love you more than Reese cups". One day my youngest said, "even Easter eggs?" and when I said yes his eyes just got humongous. Literally THE BEST THING I'VE EVER PUT IN MY MOUTH!

There is so much more peanut butter in the candy than in the regular cups! The chocolate isn't overly sweet and the peanut butter adds just enough saltiness so that it's not too sweet to eat. The hearts are a fun shape that are great to hand out at Valentine's Day events or to attach to Valentines for an exchange. My family really enjoys these treats!
