We purchased the chests a month ago. They arrived on time and the boxes were in outstanding condition. (We ordered two). The photo instruction sheet was outstanding and easy to follow. We have had several rain showers since getting these set up and they have kept our cushions dry. We agree with a previous reviewer who indicated that this makes a great serving table.

We are so happy with our purchase. We decided to go for the 230 gallon instead the smaller one (165 gallon) and it's definitely worth it. We ordered the white one (brown was sold out) and it's a great fit for our patio. It's spacious and fits plenty of patio stuff. It came with a metal piece bended (MG piece) and I called Keter's customer service. They promptly opened a ticket to send us a replacement but once we assembled the box with the bended piece we realized that it was not a problem so we cancelled the shipment. Overall is a great buy and we are very happy with it.

This Deck Box was exactly what we were looking for. We recently moved to this house with a pool and the previous owners had left their deck box. It wasn't very sturdy and was fairly small. We bought this 230 gallon box and it is perfect. It has a nice sturdy latch and the size is exactly what we needed. It's well built and not an eye-sore... bonus!

Deep storage box. We’ve purchased two smaller ones in the past. This one isn’t as long as the other two but very deep and hods an abundance of ‘stuff’ . Only suggestion...we needed to secure it to the floor of our boathouse and had to drill wood screws through the bottom...wish it had come with a way to secure.

I've owned this same box for 3 years. It's huge holds all the grand kids pool toys, Inflatable outdoor movie screand a lot more. I actually bought this one for my daughter. One thing I like about it, is it's so tall nobody can sit on it? The pneumatic hinges make it super easy to open and it stays open.

This is the third Keter deck box I have purchased in the last two years and by far my favorite. It’s several inches taller than most others on the market and very solid. It took a lot longer to put together than the other two as it came with a lot of bits and pieces. I think that’s why it’s so solid. I wish I had found this before I bought the other two.

Large capacity, but seems flimsy. For example when lifting the lid from one side the whole lid will warp. It’s also very deep and doesn’t open from the front. We use it for pool toys and the kids need a step stool to reach the bottom. When we opened it, it smelled very bad like hot asphalt. It has diminished some but when it gets hot from the sun the smell returns. Overall it serves it’s purpose and was reasonably priced. I hope it hold up.

Arrived on time. Sturdy construction. BIG box with lots of storage. However, no installation instructions. I ordered 2 of these and no instructions in either box. No paper instructions or even a QR code for online instructions. Its ironic though that I could see 6-8 different Quality Assurance tags.....sure okay. Overall, 4 stars.

I'm really disappointed with this deck box. I bought the Keter 230-Gallon XXL Deck Box just about a year ago, and the lid has already cracked right where the hinges connect. It wasn't abused, overloaded, or mishandled — it simply didn't hold up to normal outdoor use. For something that's supposed to be durable and weather-resistant, I expected it to last much longer than a single year. Now the lid won't stay open properly and the crack keeps getting worse. Definitely not worth the price, and I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone until the quality issues are addressed.

decent product, poor assembly instructions. Not worth full list price, but okay at sale price.
