So far so good. Assembled yesterday. Keter's plastic molds need attention. There was so much flash that the main tool for assembly became an x-acto knife rather than the screwdriver pictured on the instructions. There is apparently no flash removal process followed by their quality assurance department. Otherwise it went together without a hitch - the instructions - without words and only pictures - actually worked well. We'll see what happens during the first storm, but it looks pretty sturdy and ship shape.

We bought this to replace another large storage box we bought that had doors on it to store our patio cushions.....however the wind would blow rain water in through the doors and get cushions wet (in old unit). This unit is sturdy, easy to operate lid and was easy to assemble. We used a carabiner clip to ensure lid stays closed. Cushions stay dry......win-win!!!

The Keter 230 gal box is exactly what we were looking for. The shipping however was horrendous!!! The shipping box had been severely damaged, even the inside packing was destroyed, and then taped back together. Assembly instructions were missing, probably fell out when the box was damaged. The lid of the Keter box was also damaged, but not to the point it affects it's operation.

This is my second purchase of this box. I bought one last fall to store some of my outdoor cushions. I put them in in late fall thinking maybe it would keep them half decent at least. The box sat on my deck in the elements with snow on top, crazy rain and wind. I did not have high hopes when I opened the box this spring but they were dry, non smelly and had no bugs...spiders in the box. I couldn’t be happier. Like I said I had no smell at all and no leaking. Also I put this together myself in the garage with minimal effort...just snap together pieces and use the screws to secure. I highly recommend if you need storage for all those outdoor cushion when not in use.

The deck box is pretty lightweight but should be ok to store cushions. There were no instructions for assembly and the website instructions did not match the parts provided! Thankfully I had my son (who was raised with lots of legos!) come over and figure out the assembly!

Easy to put together, didn't take long at all. Let me just throw something in here, in picking up do not think that this will fit in a car. It will not fit; you will need a truck or a SUV where all seats lay down. When looking at reviews I never saw anyone comment on the size. Lid closes easy and it holds all my cushions for my outdoor table set. 6 seat and backs plus cushions for 2 wicker seats.

easy to assemble and ready to use within an hour! using it for storage of outdoor patio furniture seat cushions. we now have two of these and it is the perfect size to store each set of cushions. I would say to make sure and screw it down or secure it as the unit does have a lot of area to catch wind in a storm. WE have one unit on our dock and one on the deck!

The off white color we love. Assembly was fairly easy. The bottom panel was cracked on a couple edges and seemed to be cheap and not strong enough to handle anything being dropped on it. I will add a layer of 1/4" plywood to the bottom for strength.

This is the secound Keter Storage box I have purchased recently. The 230 gal. was not packaged as well as the 130 gal. box. even so, it was not damaged. It was easy to put together and looks really nice. I did reinforce the floor so it would handle more weight.

This outdoor storage box came in a large cardboard box with straps holding it all together. My box was severely damaged but no damage to any parts and no lost parts. I put this together in about 1 hour and by myself but would recommend 2 people for ease and speed. The box is huge and fits our outdoor couch and 2 chairs pillows and seats plus all the seats and back pillows from our 6 chair outdoor table set. It seal nicely even though I have placed it in an open outdoor area by our chimney which has water stream runoff at every rain. No water or wetness inside. I put my box on brinks to keep it off the ground. Very happy.
