The product is ok , i would not call the cameras 4k because the picture does not look 4k. The app is that connected to this device is ok but i do not get push notifications. There is room for improvement and i do believe it will be improved over time . I would still recommend it and i feel i will probably give it a higher rating once things are ironed out . Its very easy to installation i loved , the use of the DVR is sort of easy but the customer support is very good.

The camera has 3 different settings for streaming quality; low, medium, and high. If you are having problems streaming you can lower the settings and test to see if it improves. Note that lowering the stream settings does not affect the quality of the recordings. If you have very fast upload speeds you can set your camera to high, but if your upload speed is not that good then we recommend you use medium or low for the streaming setting. This can also affect the performance of your push notifications. We have compiled a list of common issues that you may experience with your camera and troubleshooting steps to follow. Suitable but poor packaging
NVR system and cameras are fine. Suitable for our purposes. However cat5e cables are packed so tightly that one was faulty out of the box.

I have connected one camera to test the vison in day light, inside house, outside house, night vison before installation. The picture quality was not up to the mark of 4K. I have packed it back to the box and returned.

This product does not do what it is advertised to do. The motion sensor push notification on the app do not work. We have done every so called fix and troubleshoot available. We’ve paid quite a bit of money for this unit and frankly, highly disappointed. How can you sell something and promote something that obviously does not work! As for the video footage, this is great, but only buy this unit if you don’t want any alerts!

Push notifications and other communications to the device work best over a strong and fast internet connection. Some experimentation with locations may be required to get the optimal signal, check the signal strength in the app to give you a guide on the most suitable placement options. PIR sensors work optimally when the camera is mounted around looking down somewhat and the subject of detection passes across their front. The more the object must "cross" the front of the camera the better the detection reliability. When placing your camera try to avoid situations where the subject would move straight toward the camera if possible. You may need to experiment with the sensitivity settings in the app and camera placement to get the ideal mix of detection. Only 2 cameras with 4k upscale resolution, 4 cameras ain't. PIR and Detection cannot be activated. Pedestrian detection defaulted to "disable" by supplier, other options not recording. Deterrent spotlight not working when defaulted schedule is changed. Sensitivity defaulted to 4, doesn't do anything if sensitivity number revised.

I have 4 Swann security home systems since 2014. Recently SWANN decided to not update security APPS ON SYSTEMS 2 Yrs or older. DO NOT OPEN THE PORTS TO USE A THIRD PARTY APP. THIS LEAVES YOUR COMPLETE ROUTER, MODEM, COMPUTERS, TABLETS. SMART HOME DEVICES ALL VISIBLE BY HOME HACKERS.. TEENAGE HACKERS CAN BREAK INTO YOUR SYSTEM THROUGH OPEN PORTS. THEN GO INTO ANY DEVICE ON THE MODEM N ROUTER.THIS IS DANGEROUS, SWANN KNOWS IT. BUT SWANN WENT CHEAP AND WONT UPDATE Their SECURE APP TO YOUR OLDER SYSTEMS APPS AND SOFTWARE. SERIOUSLY..
