Great Coffee

Love that this comes from KC--great taste & value for the price.

This coffee isn't bitter and has a great taste! Just the thing this coffee lover wants and needs in the morning. As an added bonus it is local to the KC area. I live in Springfield, MO and wish we could get it at our local Sam's. Until then, we will just stock up when we are in KC.

I was excited to find The Roasterie coffee at Sam’s since I thought it would save me a trip. This roasterie is local to us, so I matinee my surprise to find the bag filled with stale, dry and dusky beans. They were still better than generic coffee beans, but not by much and certainly nowhere near The Roasterie’s usua quality.

When my Cafe Britt Tarrazu became too expensive, I went looking for an alternative, and this really fits the bill. It has a terrific full flavor without bitterness. I have to drive over an hour to my nearest Sams Club to buy it, and it is worth every mile! Don’t drink boring grocery store varieties when you can have Pura Vida right here in KC!

Based on the cost per pound, this is probably my favorite coffee. So good, smooth, and flavorful. Great aroma. I love this blend and love supporting The Roasterie. Glad I can get it local. I always keep an extra on hand and have started getting a third for my mom as she got hooked on it while visiting.

We love this coffee so much we buy it by the case when in the Kansas City area. Wish they would offer it in other areas, too!

We really wanted to like this coffee as the company is based in our home state and we were looking for a replacement for our regular brew, the price of which had climbed quite a bit. We immediately found it to be bitter, in comparison, and didn’t reheat very well. Reheating with out the usual poor results was one bonus trait we got from the Starbucks House Blend, along with terrific flavor. I was reminded just now to look for “the brand that failed” our taste test when we tried the Maker’s Mark Medium Dark Roast Colombian Supremo coffee just now for the first time. It has a pleasant, if not as dominant, flavor as the Starbucks beans and we’ll see how it reheats tomorrow. Again, I fully understand that flavor enjoyment is a fully subjective topic and you might like the Roasterie coffee but I couldn’t let so many glowing reviews without much dissent go without comment. Thanks!

I've purchased this from Sam's for a very long time and the last 2 bags tasted different - like flavored coffee which I do not enjoy.

Great product from a great regional company. Very consistent quality.
