Incredibly versatile, smooth and bold

I was curious of this brand as the coffee is air roasted and that made it not so bitter but rather smooth and bold. I use three different coffee machines and two other brewing methods and I'm always amazed by how this coffee tastes so good in all of them. My automatic espresso machine and my conical grinder don't have any issues with grinding even though the beans are bit harder to grind with my cheaper grinder.

    Didn’t meet our (admittedly subjective) needs

    We really wanted to like this coffee as the company is based in our home state and we were looking for a replacement for our regular brew, the price of which had climbed quite a bit. We immediately found it to be bitter, in comparison, and didn’t reheat very well. Reheating with out the usual poor results was one bonus trait we got from the Starbucks House Blend, along with terrific flavor. I was reminded just now to look for “the brand that failed” our taste test when we tried the Maker’s Mark Medium Dark Roast Colombian Supremo coffee just now for the first time.
