comfort, performance

I love the quiet, comfort, and luxury ride these tires provide. Yet, I am very unsatisfied with the tread life. My tires were completely worn at 50,000 miles. With the expense, expected quality, and performance am very disappointed. Michelin has always provided me top quality. My family, including my grandparents, have always owned Michelin and nothing else. My grandfather was in the tire business for 30 years and always owned Michelin. They need to make the life of the tire last longer. I have always exceeded the warranty rating on every Michelin tire that I have owned until now.

Very Poor Durability

While these tires are quiet, decent in lifht snow and handle well, their durability was very disappointing. I know my Genesis GV70 EV is a heavy car, it is unacceptable that the OEM 265/45/R20 tires wore down from 11/32 to 4/32 after only 19,000 miles and 28 mos. Almost all of that driving was on rural roads at speeds under 50mph. I replace them at 4/32 in October because I didn't want to drive them in winter with only 4/32 of thread.

Overall, very satisfied.

We have these on our Mazda CX-5 and even with 19" rims, these tires perform really well. These are not noisy, perform well in dry and wet and corner decently well. Pretty happy with the durability so far and highway comfort is good. Handsome and not loud on the highway for us, as others have mentioned.

Good experience, but worried about using tire sealant

I have about 50k km on my tires so far and they are wearing very well. The foam rubber does make a noticeable reduction in road noise, but it’s not huge. The one thing that concerns me now that I didn’t think about when I bought them is that my PHEV does not have a spare tire. Instead it has a bottle of tire sealant and an air pump to seal the tire sufficiently to get to a tire repair centre. I don’t know what kind of mess this might make with the foam insert and how this might affect patching the tire. I plan to use CAA to get a tow if possible instead of risking injecting the tire with sealant if I get a flat.

Exactly what I wanted

My 2016 Honda Accord V6 sedan came with Primacy MXV4s. They were ok but they weren't very responsive and they didn't like getting pushed hard during cornering. The Primacy Tours are much better. My car feels more “planted” and it handles better, The ride is a little firmer but not harsh. The new tires are 2 pounds heavier and I assume the extra weight went into stiffer sidewalls, yielding better handling but a little stiffer ride. The tires are quiet except on rough road surfaces. The bottom line is that the Tours feel sportier but still very civilized, which is exactly what I wanted.

Poor mileage

I purchased these tires July 2019 and now after only 26,518 miles, they need to be replaced due to tread depth be 3/32. Although they are very quiet and have a smooth ride, they should last longer, considering the price. Very disappointed long-time customer.

OEM Replacement Tires

Very comfortable and quiet ride. Replacement for the OEM Falken touring tire on a '21 Subaru Forester. Highly recommend.

We are pleased from all aspects of what we think a tire choice should be bringing to our 2022 Ford Escape.
