Hello there - thank you for this feedback. We apologize that the fan speed doesn&#39;t work on the unit itself, only on the remote, and that this air conditioner is not exceeding your expectations. We can understand how frustrating this must be and it&#39;s not something we would expect from this unit. We recommend resetting the internal electronics of the unit by disconnecting power and then restoring it to see if that helps. If the rest of the control panel is working except for the fan speed, then something might be wrong with the control panel itself. Check out page 17 of the owner&#39;s manual to see if your unit is still within warranty, in case that&#39;s the route you want to take. We hope this is helpful. All the best, Kelsey&#64;GEA
