I bought this being it was 8k btu and energy star!!!! Wait a waste of money very very loud and does not cool a small room cuts off before it reaches temp and cycle warm air. Highly recomnd you buy one of the better units listed online!!!

Hello, Thanks for reaching out! We are so sorry to hear of the inconvenience caused by your AC unit shutting off before reaching your desired temperature. We recommend to turn the mode from Auto, to one of the following: Low, Medium or High. Once you do this, the AC unit should not turn off and on automatically, rather it will run continuously. The Auto mode will allow for the AC unit to shut on and off when it is detected as necessary. Once you change out of this mode, this should no longer happen! We hope this helps.
