This was tough one. I liked it. My hubby did not. I usually cook from scratch, so this was nice and quick. A little spicy with decent favor. For a quick meal or an appetizer, I think it would work. I used my air fryer for about 17 minutes, a little longer then recommended, because I like things crunchy. I also used home grown avocados and enjoyed it. I would not be ashamed to serve it. But, it’s a no go for the hubby.

Several members of my family (including me) have tried these. They are easy to prepare. We used our microwave, even though the instructions did not include microwave instructions. They are not spicy at all.....almost a little bland. We added salsa and sour cream. Perfect!! With our added ingredients, they make the perfect snack, or small meal.

These patties were good and toasted well in the air fryer. I’ve never had Jamaican food so I am not sure what they’re should taste like but it wasn’t bad. Not something I would regularly stock in my freezer though. Although marked spicy, these are not spicy at all. The shipping packaging was great and kept the item cold/frozen during transport.

These were mixed for us. Some in the family liked them while others did not. I'm thankful that I have kids that are willing to try new things! I think a few of the kids weren't fans of the spices used. But I dont think that should take away from the product

I got thees a month ago since we had recently been to a Jamaican restaurant, and like these pies. Joe’s were a welcome addition to our freezer. I cooked them in our air frier and they came out flaky and hot. We enjoyed them a lot. I would have liked it if they were a little spicier but my wife disagreed. Al in all a nice pie!

I prepared this turnover using an air fryer as the instructions recommend. The crust is what one would expect in a turnover. A little crumbly with a dry texture. The best part of this is the meat inside. It is spicy with a nice flavor. This is a good snack or part of a lunch with some sides. I will be buying some more and keep them ready for the midnight snack attack.

I have tried these and I have to say I am mildly surprised. I tried them both in the microwave and in the oven. While I prefer the crispness of the oven, they are just as tasty in the microwave for a quick lunch. The meat has a nice flavor wit hint of spicy that I like.

the jamaican style beef patties were spicy for sure!! However after cooking them both in oven and microwave there taste was little mor ethan spicy.The pockets did not "crisp up " , which left a soft shell rather than a crunchy shell.I feel they were rather bland and needed salsa or sour cream added to improve thier taste. All in all ok but expect to juice it up with toppings!!

If you like a mild, spicy taste then these would be for you, of course if you like it spicier just add some sriracha sauce or other dipping sauce. Cook up easily in the air fryer as recommended, which is great as helps avoid some of those extra fats we can do without.

Dinner with the Jamaican beef Patties was filled with mixed results. The adults enjoyed the Jamaican flavor/spicy beef Pattie’s. The kids did not. The children thought the outside was too dry, and the inside was too flavorful. I enjoyed the outside crispy texture. The flavor of the patty itself was tangy, soft and melts in your mouth. Maybe try a creamy or cheesy sauce/dip with it to help with outside crispiness.
