Poise does offer real-time protection against leaks and odor. The absorbency was better then average while still allowing an environment that has breathability. My disappointment came in around how they felt. I will say that these are much smaller then previous versions of Poise and other brands. However, I still found these to be a bit long and a little bulky. I also found that the longer you wore them, the more uncomfortable they felt. These would be good for I’d say around an 8 hr use. After that breathability and comfort go downhill rather quickly. So “would I buy these using my own money”? I’d say yes but I would not use them for the higher timeframe of the “up to 12 hrs” slogan. I would stick with 8 hrs or less.

When I do I have a sense of urgency and am sometimes am unable to hold it. Your pads made me feel securein feeling dry and I didnt have to be embarrassed about leakage. I have been using your product for years, and have been very satisfied with it. However, I do not like the new “contour” shape. They don’t provide coverage where you need it. My panties are getting wet during the day, causing me to have to change them (major nuisance)!! I wish you would bring back the old shaped ones, and until you do I will have to change brands. They might be good for some people, maybe you could offer a choice of products for the consumer. Hey, that’s a novel idea !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would have given this product 5 Stars except for one VERY serious flaw. NO WINGS!!! I am tired of having to keep changing my underwear because the leakage comes out the sides when I have mild incontinence. Wearing pads with higher absorbency doesn't work because it only means that they are longer in length. I need the absorbency in the middle and to have wings to keep the pad flat so that it doesn't end up bunching up in the middle and protects my underwear. When I have an accident the pad is still completely dry on the top and bottom and the sides of my underwear are wet as well as the middle of the pad. With all the wonderful reviews obviously this isn't an issue a lot of women have,but I cannot be the only one that has this problem. Unfortunately, I have had to go back to period pads because I'm tired of having to change my underwear along with changing the pad every time I have leakage. I may have to change it more often with a period pad but at least that's all I have to change because my underwear stays dry when I use a pad with wings. It's too bad really because if it had wings this would be a perfect product for me.
