I know urine and blood has different consistencies, but this could be used as a menstrual pad as well as for bladder leakage. It is pretty absorbent, just as the maxi pads are but I am not a fan of thick pads. The underwear have the same coverage, but they feel like diapers, so it comes down to personal taste on what is more comfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They're a little bulky, but it's not uncomfortable. They seem to fit well and are good for medium-heavy flow. I just would be careful as to what pants to wear if you don't want it to be noticeable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think everyone loves and appreciates the packaging of these, which are quiet and seem like cloth. Opening it was a bit of a surprise at their dimensions. I mean, I know it said "long" but they are not kidding. You definitely have great coverage. I was not remotely worried with these. They stayed put and stuck to the underwear and not my leg, which I was happy about. I often have issues with the top pulling away and folding down on itself. This was minimized greatly with this product, although there was something about the top that felt really bulky/noticeable/uncomfortable after a while (like the whole day). I also usually have issues with other pads not being wide enough and providing coverage along the sides. This was almost too wide, and at times felt like riding a saddle, but I am sure it might be unavoidable at this absorbency level. I was certainly dry and did not worry about leaks. I feel like I could've just completely peed my pants and still been alright.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Poise, fresh protection pads! They are the five drop maximum regular pads. The pack comes with 14 pads total. At first, I was not sure because they seem really big and bulky, but I will say they are very comfortable and very absorbent! I included a picture of the pad itself just for a length reference. They are a bit long, that being said they work really well for overnight! The absorbency level is really great, they are wonderful at preventing the feeling of wetness or dampness. The odor protection is also great! The material is nice and soft. They do not feel itchy or rough on the skin. Overall, this is a great product. I am postpartum baby number 6, and with that comes many struggles related to muscle weakness and overall healing. So this is a great item.

The poise pads fits good but I find I often leak on the sides and at the back end. I find when I have a sudden urge to urinate and have difficulty holding the urine it leaks from the pad to the panties when I try to sit on the toilet.The pad does not absorb the water that fast. Would prefer if the sides of the pads were contoured and the absorbency were improved. Another important factor is odor control when you need to wear the pad for a longer period of time. I have switched from other brands 3 years ago and am reasonably happy with the product. Also when you change packaging please put the previous packaging details on the new package. Thanks for listening and hopefully we will be able to have comfortable and safe product.

My grandmother has been a user of Poise pads for many years and me being her caregiver for the past 3 years have been right along side of her shopping cart as we make our trips to restock on her #5 Regular Length pads. Lately, our outings haven’t been as easy considering the new contoured pads DO NOT ABSORD AT ALL and we were house bound for a bit due to her inability to rely on them. I had to make a special trip to the store for the non-contoured, older style of pad just so she could leave the house. Once the older style was secured for her, we were finally able to make more road trips to look for more packages of the older pad styles to stock up on. Slowly they are all being sold out locally and driving around the state scouring stores isn’t a possibility for us. We also cant rely ordering them online from big bulk stores or other places like Amazon because all stores don’t recognize the differences in the contoured/non-contoured styles so that would be a waste if they were the wrong ones. The new contoured pads DO NOT WORK because they are TOO THIN, NON-ABSORBENT, UNCOMFORTABLE, and UNRELIABLE. Its obvious the person that came up with the contoured edges for comfort never had to wear or rely on an incontinence product just to manage day to day life, to leave the house, etc. The Poise review page pushes the positives ones forward first and you somewhat have to dig to find the negative reviews but once you find them, they are plentiful with all of them receiving basically the same response from poise," Your loyalty means a lot to us….We are disappointed to hear that you were not satisfied with your recent experience…” They also provide multiple phone numbers to call. The phone numbers have been called and not much was achieved there unless you consider receiving coupons for pads that DON’T WORK AT ALL anymore a big help. The review was given to a male customer service representative who would never have to use a female incontinence product so the personal connection wasn’t there. As loyal Poise and Kimberly Clarke product customers, Grandma and I would like to believe that Poise just missed the mark on the design absolutely 100% completely and that this isn’t another big corporation out for more money by cutting costs on products while simultaneously offering an inferior product. Both of us are surprised and shocked Poise would even attach their name to this product and take comfort in seeing pages upon pages of all the numerous negative reviews from other customers. We can only hope that maybe if there are enough negative comments and reviews they will actually listen and go back to what their customers are asking for but until then we will have to hope our stocked supply of old pads holds up until we can find something that actually works.

No leaking through; no wet feeling. Felt bulky when I first put it on, but it molded to my body as I wore it. Very good product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pads worked the best for me after giving birth. Even though there are no wings, the sides almost form a cup and it keeps leaks from happening. These pads are incredibly soft and very breathable. I will forever be a fan of this brand.

They stayed in place, did not move from side to side, and they did not even bunch up either! I like them even better than the brand I was using before. I would definitely use these on a regular basis! Comfort and protection and they even look pretty! Good Job Poise! Thumbs up on this one!
