I KNOW my purchase was more than your average boxed mattress. But I sleep sound, less pain and confident that my mattress is going to last! Our last purchase was over 20 years ago! Both of us have experienced a reduction in body pains and are sleeping better. One really nice benefit is that one of us can get in and out of the bed without disturbing the other; there is practically no movement. Just the right amount of firmness. So glad we invested!

This is our second Tempurpedic mattress. The first one is 25 years old and still going strong in our other home. The new one is a Medium Hybrid. It feels a little soft to me, but I fear the firm would be too hard. Perhaps the hybrid coils are what give it its "softness". The mattress it replaced is 30 years old so anything would feel more comfortable.

Our first was for a queen bed and we upgraded to a split king. Each person can use any of the features without disturbing the other.

Our original queen Tempur-Pedic was about 20 years old. We decided to switch to a king. The Tempur Adapt medium was described as most like the original mattress, which we loved. Our new mattress is hands down the most comfortable on the planet. It is a bit more firm than the original which suits me perfectly. And as an aside...if your 15 pound Great Dane puppy sleeps with you, purchase a king right away, because 130 pounds later you will definitely need the extra space!

This is our second Tempur-Pedic mattress and it has not disappointed us. This mattress keeps you slightly cooler than our old Cloud mattress did, which is great. I haven't overheated once. Also, I am typically a toss and turn kind of sleeper, so this mattress is great for my wife, allowing her to sleep too! However, I do not toss and turn on this mattress even close to what I used to, plus I don't wake up with sore shoulders etc. and I am a side sleeper only.
