We recently decided to get a new mattress and chose a Tempur-Pedic adjustable bed. Now we don't have to prop up pillows to read or recover from surgeries. For us, it is still the best night's sleep! There are a lot more choices of models and firmness now, so be sure to explore all your options. And don't be surprised when your pets, kids, and grandkids want to sleep in *your* bed.

This is advertised as medium firmness but I would say now that I've been sleeping on it for a couple of weeks thst it's more on the firm side. Probably worth trying one in the store if you're on the fence.

But I cannot sleep on it very long. I wake up about every 2 hours with horrible back pain from how hard it is

But no more! It truly lives up to its name of "Adapt" as it adapts to your form, keeps and holds you there firmly, like a hug! I would have to say 5/5 stars for sure.

You do sink a little when you lay on it but just the right amount to keep everything in line. Have yet to throw my back out from sleeping on it. Paired with a power base and it is the best sleep I've had in years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mattress is good. It's pretty comfortable. Im a side sleeper and my shoulders and hips have issues it seems. However, the adjustable base helps some with that. I don't think the "cooling" stuff in the mattress cover does anything, especially after you put a mattress protector and a fitted sheet on top of it. Ours doesn't have much "cooling" stuff and I'm glad as I think paying more for stuff you're hiding under layers of cloth would be a waste of money. It has helped my ankles/achilles-tendons which were previously very stiff in the morning. My lower back is also doing much better with this mattress than my prior mattress. The medium firm is pretty firm still - we've only had it for a short period of time and we keep the room pretty cool - so it stays on the firmer side. My only real negative is, it's expensive!

I bought this new tempurpedic to replace my 11 year old Tempurpedic mattress. Obviously, I am a devoted user of this product. While this replacement mattress is very comfortable I am disappointed that it still has the problem of getting to warm while sleeping on it. I find myself having to move around to get to a cooler spot more often than I want. I am having both knees replaced this year so I had hoped to have updated to a newer better mattress. It's definitely newer but fails on the better part.
