This mattress was purchased to fit my husband's hospital bed. He has a rare disease that causes muscles to lose strength, and his previous mattress was horrible. I purchased the Tempurpedic because it supports his entire body, allowing him to sleep soundly.

Great bed, slightly expensive for my taste. The only thing I didn't like about the bed was the firmness. I am a side sleeper and started having neck and shoulder pain shortly after getting this bed. I'm sure the more expensive plush would've been better but we found a cheaper bed that we both liked. We'll try the tempur again in the future I'm sure.

We tried another brand first and ended up returning that mattress. The other mattress was a hybrid and it just to firm. We will continue to buy Tempur-pedic mattresses when we are ready for our next one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Order and delivery went very smoothly. We had our first Tempur-pedic mattress for 18 years and just got a new one. We're very happy with it. Delivery was on time and and they took away the old mattress, which was nice.

After years of doing the snap, crackle and pop every morning, along with major hip pain, we purchased the tempur-pedic. Being a nurse, I knew the pain would not magically disappear overnight, in fact it would probably get worse before it got better since your body needs to readjust to more normal alignment. But now, just over 30 days in, I am happy to be waking up pain free! No noisy snap, crackle and pop. No more debilitating hip pain. No tossing and turning trying to find relief. Just a restful solid sleep for the first time in years!

Both my husband and I experienced mid back pain after 1 night of sleeping on this mattress, pain we did not have prior. We were hoping that the mattress would break in, but after a month and a half we are still experiencing pain. We are in the process of returning the mattress.

I had a memory foam mattress that was 9 years old so it was time for a new one. I loved it the very first night I slept on it and was cool and comfortable the whole night. I've owned a double size Tempurpedic for many years, and decided I wanted to have more room. My new Tempurpedic is fantastic. They last forever!! I never have sore or achy bones upon rising in the morning. And I wake up refreshed. I would not recommend owning any other mattress!!

I just had back surgery a couple of weeks ago and I am so glad that I bought this bed before doing so.
