Couldn’t be more pleased (minus their EULA policy). Beautiful picture, great gaming features including the 1440p option at 120Hz. This tv offers all the options I was looking for. I wish AirPlay was more compatible. But my only real complaint is that you are given NO CHOICE about accepting most of their EULA’s which is ridiculous. Especially if you have no interest in things like ‘LG Channels’ and ‘voice command’.. thankfully after accepting them you can go back and revoke your permission. BUT beware you will get a MASSIVE bar in the middle of your screen every so often, insisting you accept the EULA and it won’t go away until you do. Making you repeat the cycle. TBH if I knew about this hassle I would bought from another brand

There was a sharp intake of breath when the TV was delivered, its big! We was initially nervous about handling it and fitting on the wall - we needn't have been, it was super easy and not as heavy as anticipated - truly plug and play. Thought had also gone into the positions of the sockets in the rear, and the side for the HDI cables etc.... Easily accessible. Very minimum setup, plugged the TV in and updated the system and the apps. Time from unpacking disconnecting original TV to being sat down with the new TV fully setup watching our fantastic early Christmas present no more than 1.5 hours. The sound is superb, we found the sound better on the TV than our soundbar, the interface on the home screen is intuitive and easy to use, picture quality exceptional. The big USP's for me was; Plug & Play User friendly home screen and interface Sound quality Picture quality Sockets on side of TV in addition to the rear

The first TV delivered direct from LG had a fault. It would reset its self randomly after around 90-120 minutes. Offered a no quibble replacement. Delivered today and the original unit taken back. Perfect.

Brilliant picture but poor sound quality which was a disappointment for a high end TV. Also too many models (3L/4L/5L/6L) to chose from with very little differences. Set-up proved difficult so a quick start guide should be packed with the TV. Had to reset the TV and restart my WiFi and reset my home cinema before the TV ARC worked correctly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely the best TV I've ever had, with brilliant colour and contrast. Two words of caution to potential buyers though. 1. It's a devil to get out of the box and set up safely. When the delivery men dropped it off they took a photo of the screen to verify it had arrived in one piece. I had to set it up on my own and was terrified of breaking it - it was very tricky to remove from the box and set up without putting pressure on the screen at any point. Good to have careful help here. 2. As is quite common, the various motion smoothing and image enhancement settings were all turned on by default, and colour and contrast were far too high. My first viewing of a standard definition channel was so bad I nearly sent the TV back. Highly compressed, low resolution digital channel look pretty poor on any 55 inch TV and these settings are there with the intention of mitigating that but just like on any othe TV all they do is make it worse, and the settings on this TV, that some poor techies have no doubt laboured over to make a selling point out of, look so bad it's beyond belief. A war film I chanced on looked like a badly drawn cartoon seen though a bathroom window. Turn them all off and your standard def channels will look no worse than any other TV. If you're watching anything in HD or 4K, though, this is great. Set the black level so it's as dark at it will go without losing any detail in the shadows, turn off the motion smoothing and so-called clarity settings, and this is just about as good as it gets. Remember to do this for all inputs because if you set it up for live TV those settings won't be carried over to your Netflix or blu-ray player, you have to set those up too, so it could take a while to get everything how you want it, but that's par for the course. My only other minor quibble is that with some old DVDs it wont recognise that they should display in 4x3, and where some TVs have a remote that can fix this with one button, you have to hunt through the picture settings to correct this. The on-screen cursor on the remote can be a bit skittish and alight on things you don't want to activate, but it's easily turned off and useful for typing in names when you're searching for something. Finally, it's a very smart looking set. Overall, very happy indeed.

Best picture I have ever had, really surprised when I tried the old 50in, non-oled in the bedroom how poor that was in comparison (I used to think that was ok!). Great range of connectivity. Sound from the TV speakers not reflective of the quality of the pic but who doesn't use a sound bar these days.

I think the tv is fantastic with brilliant image quality and audio is good too. Having used it for a week now I feel that the software interface is not so good and I dislike the floating mouse like part which is more of a hindrance. I have not found out how to disable it yet.

Excellent product, picture quality is at a different level of enjoyment for me, compared to my previous Sony Bravia. No hesitation in recommending this item for your next investment. User friendly menu, when setting up the various applications - but I do confess my son did the joined up writing for “amplifier” and all other ancillaries. But it just oozes quality of an evenings to viewing, even the test on the screen is much more sharper. So overall it's certainly worth more than the permitted “5 star review”

Being an lg television owner my last one being a 3D version I am delighted to have purchased a 48" C4 it is amazing picture quality an with soundbar the sound is also amazing the picture on my old tv was very good but switching to oled is like getting a quality productso marks for picture 10 soundbar 10 very satisfied customer thank you LG
