I PUT MY SET OF NEW TIRES AT 55,000 MILES. I DID NOT EXPECT THE TIRES TO LAST AS LONG AS THEY DID. I RAN HANKOOKS ON THIS VEHICLE BUT THEY LAST 20,000 MILES AND THEY HAD TO BE REPLACED WITH THESE. IVE USED MICHELIN, GOODYEAR AND PIRELI BEFORE. I HAVE SURPRISE THAT THESE ARE A GREAT ALTERNATE TO THOSE COMPANY AND THE PRODUCT IS SOLID AND WORKS GREAT. THE RIDE IS SMOOTH AND QUIET, LOW TO NO ROAD NOISE UNTIL ABOUT 125,000-130,000 MILES. THEY HANDLE GREAT IN SNOW AND IN ICE. THESE ARE REASONS WHY I WILL STAY WITH THESE TIRES AND CONTINUE TO MOVE FORWARD. THEY DID JUMP UP IN PRICE FROM WHAT I INITIALLY PAID FOR THE OTHER SET. I WILL NOT HESITATE TO CONTINUE WITH WHAT IS WORKING FOR ME.

Recently put the LE3's on my truck and immediately saw much improved traction on wet roads and the road noise was almost non-existent. Getting a tire with a very long tread life is also a plus worth paying for. I compared the LE3 to other brands much more expensive and the LE3 in my opinion is a much better tire.

I replaced Goodyear Wranglers with these to get better traction on wet roads. The wet traction is definitely better. The first thing I noticed is the steering is a little squirrely with these tires. It's like I have to really pay attention to the wheel and constantly correct or else I'm drifting from side to side in the lane. The goodyears did not do this. Could be they have the air psi too high from 40 to 43. I might deflate them to 36 psi and see how that does. Not as smooth as I'd hoped either; or as quite.

These tires are much improved from the Destination LE2. If your a fan of Firestone tires and are looking for a great tire, these are them. Quiet on the highway, great tread for when driving in wet conditions as well as on dry and in those hot summers in Texas.

Well it was time to get new tires for my Ridgeline and Firestone has always been my first choice for getting them. I was happy with the installation. The truck's ride and handing seemed to improve with the new tires. Steering felt more stable and responsive. Tires are never an inexpensive necessity but I felt these tires were worth the investment.

This is my second set of tires on this vehicle, this set of Firestone Destinations that I have purchased over the years. Can't say enough about them. The old Michelin's were hard and slippery, these Destination LE3 completely transformed the ride of my truck and instill confidence once again that it can go through anything I need it to. My OEM tires on my Honda CR-V Hybrid needed replacement at 25k, and I researched all the tires that were recommended for my vehicle. The Destination LE3 and the "M" tires were rated virtually the same, but the LE3's were $300 less. Plus I had the Destination LE2 on my Nissan Rogue, and a friend had them on his Mazda CX7. The LE2's were fantastic, great wear, great performance, and very smooth. I felt the LE3 would be the same, if not improved. So far, I'm right.

I have been a fan of the Destination Tire for years now due to its smooth ride, durability, comfort control, and overall safety, recently had this tire put on my daughters car also because it is time tested by me and I know its valuable quality and safety.

The OEM tires (Firestone LE2) on my Ridgeline were at just below 4/32" and we were taking a 1,000 mile trip; I always change tires when the tread depth hits that measurement, so I stopped in at the Firestone company store in Dover Delaware. I am very particular about who mounts and balances tires on my vehicle, having seen the effects of improper tools and techniques. I was greeted by TJ who quickly and professionally put together a quote. I scheduled an appointment for three days from then and left. On the way back from Philly the day of the appointment there was a serious accident and a 45 minute delay. I called TJ to say I would not be able to make the appointment time and to reschedule; he asked me when I would be there and then said "we will get the tires installed,see you then!" Sure enough, I got there, dropped the truck off, went and had lunch, and then came back earlier than the 1 1/2 hours I assumed it would take--there was my truck with 4 new tires! We were able to get on our way in time! The LE3 tires are quieter than the LE2 tires they replaced, handle great in the dry and wet, and are quiet. Assumed I was purchasing the newer LE3, but not a problem since I was satisfied with the original LE2's, which gave 52K miles of quiet, even wear. If I hadn't replaced a little early, I probably could have gotten 60K miles. Just double check when purchasing to receive the improved 70K mile LE3.
