Great when it works...

Like I said, its great when it works. The apps crash more often than not, the googlecast never works. It'd be great if it worked the way it was intended to.

Why???

We bought this for my disabled dad who just moved in with us; when I tried to put the Spectrum app on it it said you don't do spectrum! That is primarily the one he watches! Thinking of taking it back and getting a Samsung

Hello Sherrin, this TV uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built in apps, as well as support for Google Chromecast, Apple AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device. Great Picture

Purchased two TVs and sound bar systems about a month ago. We love the pictures and the sound systems. Just converted to smart TV's and streaming as opposed to cable. Vizio made the conversion quite manageable for two 70+ year olds!
