Had to replace my vizio

Got this a month ago. Not thrilled with it. The picture is alright nothing great. The adjustment setting is off. Can't get the picture right. Also when first turned on it stays on Smartcast. When turned off it was set on the tivo. Have to change it every time turned on. Its very aggravating to me. This is something that did not happen with my previous vizio! No problem with the price of the TV.

Love this TV.

Exactly what I expected and more!

Well I end up seeing a really good deal on this Vizio… I've had vizio's in the past and never a problem, so I was pretty excited. I've had the TV now for a couple of months just to take it on a test run, and it works perfectly. It has everything I need and streams with my phone. Also, I can connect to live TV which is pretty cool. 10/10 would recommend! Great buy (:

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a gift. I love the size but the only issue I have is with the remote. If I am watching netflix there isn't a pause button to stop a movie. Nice size. Not too big. Great color. Fairly easy to navigate.

SW update triggered new purchase cycle?

Following the update I've been receiving many communications about my "new purchase" and I even had to re-connect this unit with my Alexa/Smart Home system.

Television Unwatchable

Twice in the last year the television has defaulted to the “purple galaxy” screen, or the “input” selections will begin scrolling on its own. WatchFree will take over the screen. We have registered the television several times through these prompts, and most recently reset the TV 3 to 4 times with your help desk on the telephone, With your help desk operating the TV!! At this moment, the TV is locked up and unwatchable…. PLEASE HELP

Beautiful picture!

Great Image, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to admit, the image is great and the sound is quality on my two month old Vizio TV. However, I live in Arizona, with a west facing wall that my tv is mounted on, and that wall gets about 6 hours of solid Arizona sunshine in the afternoon. So, to put it lightly, it gets warm. Too warm for the Vizio TV. At first I tried all of the trouble shooting tricks that I could find on the internet, but nothing seems to work. I reboot the tv at least 3 times daily, yes, the auto-off is turned off and I even put new batteries in the remote and downloaded all firmware for the remote. Yet, it shuts off randomly. Finally, I felt the back of the tv and it gets warm on the west facing wall. So, I am going to add a cooling fan, but it would be better if the tv had its own.

I read the reviews and had high expectations with this TV but the picture is not like you're in a movie theater and definitely not the sound. The sound is awful, you have to turn it up so high just to hear it. You'll definitely need a sound bar. I bought this TV to replace my 50” Emerson that I've had for years but the Emerson is better than the Vizio. To top it off just 2 days after I began using the Vizio , it has lines coming down from the top of the screen! What is this!! I definitely want my money back!
