Easy viewing from across the room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this over a year ago to take advantage of the lowest price ever!!! in anticipation of my new home being finished in a short time. Unfortunately, it took longer than anticipated but it is now mounted on a wall w/a swivel mount that I can adjust. The picture is very sharp, and contrast is easily programmed. The number of inputs from HDMI and antenna is acceptable, the number of apps that can be be downloaded is very large. As I only have a limited wifi modem to work with I am still pleased that my ROKU response allows me many options for viewing. A sound bar system would really increase the pleasure I get from viewing it.

GOAT

Tried and true and solid product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually bought this television over a year ago and I've had zero problems with it. My internet stays hooked up. I don't have to keep reconnecting it like I do on other devices. It has three HDMI ports, which is great because I have my Xbox One S always hooked up to it as the primary but I haven't even hooked up an older computer tower to it to be able to get information off of it for my parents. I used to use the USB port for my passports that hold my movies and I can look at pictures and documents and everything that's on there on the screen. I move the passport to the Xbox One and actually I'm using the USB slot for rope back Lighting on the television which sticks extremely well. The screen has very great calibration for whatever you're looking for, there are Bluetooth headphone options which can go to an undisclosed number of devices both headphones and speakers. Which is amazing to be able to do while someone else is watching something else or doing something else we're sleeping you could actually put your headphones on and it has the option to go through the settings or hold the mute button for 5 seconds, and it turns the screen off but you still hear everything and can change the volume even. I also extremely like the voice button on the remote. My cat likes to change my channels on me, he's even called people on my phone if I don't lock it so I can at least change it back easily Enough by just speaking to it compared to going through everything all over again and it saves your place in certain apps. The only, ONLY, reason that I have to get the television 4 stars instead of five is the fact of the applications. There are a lot of applications on here, yes, but a lot of them as an adult or just a person even have not heard of at all and I wish there was a way to customize the apps a little bit more specific to your es. I know you can change the main bar but you can't remove apps that take up space that you don't use or you can't add an app unless they add it when they update it. But the updates do happen on their own you don't have to go and check it all the time.

So far so good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Vizio tv. I actually still own my first and don't ever want to get rid of it. ( it's a 3d tv.) we had to replace a tv that was on the way out and went with Vizio because it's a trusted brand that's reliable. The screen is very beautiful. I would think about hooking it up to a sound bar though. I still have to fiddle with those settings to find the optimal ones. I actually really like the smart tv setup they have. So much better then they had in the past.

Horrible quality

Second tv we received as a replacement through warranty. First took 1yr to show black spots and screen problems. This one lasted 2 weeks and now has a vertical line right down the center and light coming from the top where the line starts. We will not be buying another. The quality of the products just aren't there

Love this Smart TV

Going from 720 p to the best technology has been so drastically improved. I now have multiple devices that can be seen on this new device

Unreliable

Don't waste your money.Purchased the tv about 6 months ago.,first 4 months not really an issue.However the last 2 months I constantly have to reboot the TV.Sometimes go as far as unplugging and plugging back in just to get it to work.This is only a problem using smart cast.The satalite tv part works fine.Would not buy again.

Great picture!

Great features

Not a great TV!

This TV looks pretty good.. But has major issues.. I have to unplug this TV every day for at least 60 seconds or it will not power on. There are times during use where you have a good Wi-Fi connection but it will not load any streamed content. It will open the apps, it will display the guides but when you select something to watch it won't load.. You have to go into the admin menu and select reboot tv, once rebooted it works fine.. I would not recommend this tv..
