Best TV ever

Wi-Fi or direct connect doesn't matter this thing still keeps up with whatever you throw at it I personally love the screen sharing from my other devices. I would buy this tv again if I needed another one

Great TV with missing apps and forget Alexa

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this TV after a very unsatisfactory experience with another, and I'm mostly happy with it. The screen is beautiful, and I love how clear it is. I can use the built in apps enough that I don't need my Roku device as much, I do still need it, because Vizio still does not have apps for Crunchyroll and/ or Hoopla, two apps that are very much needed. Crunchyroll bought Funimation, and all the Funimation content is porting to Crunchyroll and yet the Vizio system still hasn't caught on. And Hoopla is part of the public library system, and it seems Vizio doesn't care to support them. They keep adding apps for far flung genres I have no interest in, or "recent apps" and "show inputs" which is kinda nice, so I know they are updating, but those two apps are NEEDED. Oh, and don't get me started on the Alexa smartspeaker connection. That NEVER works.

Beautiful! Love the Picture and the sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought this a few days ago, BUT, the reason I will only buy Vizio is because my 42" 3D TV, lasted for over Eleven Years! Out of all the TVs and devices I have used at work and set up for presentations, Vizio is always the easiest to use and the most reliable technology I have come across. I love the TVs because they just work and they look Awesome!

I bought this for my parents so that they can stream and access additional programming to supplement OTA channels, which are pretty limited in their area. Overall, the Vizio V-series was easy to unpack and set up. The picture and sound are great. There is a noticeable difference in the sound when streaming, though, as compared with OTA volume. Programs and movies seem really low and the maximum sound must be used for my parents to hear. Now, they are older but there should not be a need to watch movies at a volume of 80, when the OTA volume is 30. I will review audio settings and possibly purchase the V-series sound bar to see if that helps. One challenge is that the TV seems to drop the WiFi connection easily and requires a sign-in or connection test often. Thus has happened twice, once after a thunderstorm and once after high winds. Weather can be volatile in SW Pennsylvania. It could be my parent's WiFi or just Smart TVs, in general. I am new to Smart TVs, myself, but not to tech gadgets and WiFi does not always offer an infallible connection. The only other challenge (for my parents) is the remote. Not a very useful one for the over-80 crowd, but thank goodness for voice control! It is not an intuitive remote and needs lots of practice and a gentle touch, especially if your father has big hands, heavy press, and no patience. If i had seen the remote on display, i might i have opted for a different model from Vizio that has a more adaptive remote. The V-series was incredible value, and I would recommend the purchase of Vizio, as long as it continues to operate. Since it really is only 3 weeks old, it might better served to reach out at the 30-, 60-, or 90-day mark to ensure continued satisfaction. Otherwise, so far so good.

TV that seems to work as intended so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The app section can be confusing at first but once you play around you will get a handle on it in no time. other than that its a basic Smart TV that seems to have very little lag and good picture quality. Perfect for any bedroom but I would upgrade to something nicer for any entertainment room but this would also work well in that area as well.

Only one big disappointment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really disappointed that I can't install other apps. I wanted to install Angels Studio app. There also is no browser. I don't always want to use Airplay or Chromecast. When I want to use my phone I use my phone. When I use my tv I want to use my tv. Other than that it's great. Picture is best around.

Amazing TV at an affordable price!!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with this purchase. The picture is clear and sharp. The setup was quick and easy. The user interface is very simple to navigate, and the smart remote makes it even easier. The TV is very light and easily maneuverable for a single person if you know what you're doing. The only issue is I wish I bought it sooner!!!

Great

Can't beat it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my tv almost 3 weeks ago and going from my old tv was a huge upgrade the Vizio format and layout is awesome at first it was laggy and slow to respond but it did an update and is now very fast and responsive, There is no need for a 3rd party device it has all the apps you need right on the Home Screen plus all of the free channels that Vizio offers with the edition. Very easy set up, Great picture and video quality!
