The best ever purchased

The best flat screen I have ever had, no problems setting up, nor getting streaming going. I love this flat screen, the color is crisp and clear, I thought I would have to get a sound bar but the sound quality is perfect and surround sound is just perfect.

Vizio 50”

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the 50” Vizio for my elderly mother's bedroom's because she loves 65” Vizio in her living room I bought her last year. I love how easy they are to setup! I'll be buying another 50” for her guest bedroom.

Outstanding!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second Vizio. The first one we purchased three years ago and it resides downstairs. Just purchased a 65" for the upstairs family room and couldn't be more pleased. The picture quality is amazing. The app setup is super easy to use. Looking forward to buying another smaller one for the bedroom. Keep up the good work Vizio - thank you!!

Great picture and easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dashboard is easy to navigate and it has all the apps I need. The Vizio service is awesome and allows me to watch some movies for free as well! The picture quality is more than I could hope for for the price as well! Great buy!

Doesn't Last

Have had this tv a little over a year and it's already losing the picture. All the sudden the bottom third started to become slightly different in color and would cycle every 10 seconds between the normal picture and the slightly distorted color in the bottom third. Well 2 days later it was unwatchable. Same thing every ten seconds goes from normal picture to starts distorted then goes full screen weird green scramble all over and then ten seconds later back to normal picture for 10 seconds. Not something I would recommend.

Good picture

Picture quality is pretty good BUT picture tends to be "dark". This is true especially for movies and some series programs like "Blue Bloods", which is one of our favorites. Some aspects of the picture adjustments are not available because, I am told, the cable company sets these controls, and I cannot alter them. I don't like that! Otherwise, the TV is fine.

I replaced this tv with a previous Vizio that lasted less than 2 years. It just quit working and I had numerous problems with it. Now this newer model will not pair with a new Vizio sound bar. Your customer service says I have to wait until a newer version of tv firmware comes out. They don't know when. I'm very frustrated. My last Vizio purchase.

They last forever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the first one because I saw them in action. Everyday for over 2 years I was at the gym. There were six Vizio 46 inch units working 24/7. That's over 17,000 hours. Not one failed. I now have 7 between my 2 homes.

Most diverse menu of any HDTV

There are so many available inputs (apps) via the internet it's mind blowing. The analog audio output jacks (RCA type) sometimes shut down but a simple live reboot fixes it. Assured by tech a firmware fix is coming to solve it. This is so minor compared to everything else this set offers it was almost not mentioning but I wanted a full disclosure of everything good and not so good (that 1 thing only).

Solid TV, fast processor, wonky backlight

The TV works great. It is very responsive to user commands and the remote works beautifully. The only issue I have with the TV (aside from the horrible speakers that are to be expected from all TVs these days) is that the backlight seems like it's spotty in some areas. It's most noticeable when you have a solid rectangle of grey, such as Vizio's own background and you'll see the screen look like white light is bleeding out of different areas almost as if the TV had experienced water damage (my TV has not been exposed to water or humidity). I can't complain too much though since it does not totally detract from watching TV most of the time and the price was stupid cheap for the quality of the product overall.
