I have been using the Cetaphil line for years, on a recommendation from a dermatologist. The Gentle Foaming Cleanser is exactly what the name says – gentle, non-irritating, perfect for sensitive skin. I have oily/combination skin and use this cleanser both in the morning and at night. It leaves the skin feeling smooth and clean, without drying it out. In the evening, I use it as a second cleanse after removing make-up with an oil-based cleanser. I find that this cleanser is not the best at removing waterproof mascara but is ideal as a second cleanse. It does not have a scent so it’s a great option for sensitive skin. this is the only face wash that doesn't break me out and irritate my skin. ive tried high end to every drugstore product and my skin absolutely loves this. I am so happy and confident with the clear skin this gives me! please never stop making this!!!

It keeps my face matte and reduces my breakout and oil significantly. The smell is a little old lady, but it isn't too bad. Works really well and is something you come to expect from Cetaphil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to try this Cetaphil Gentle Foaming Cleanser because it came in a foam presentation, it is light and gentle on the skin but I didn't like it because wen I rinse my face I didn't feel it was clean, it was the opposite, it was dry and with a layer of soap, maybe because I have sensitive skin or not, I was very disappointed.

It didn't take my makeup off what so ever and I never really felt like my face got a deep cleaning. I always had to go after using it and use another face wash just to get the rest of my makeup off.
