It keeps my face matte and reduces my breakout and oil significantly. The smell is a little old lady, but it isn't too bad. Works really well and is something you come to expect from Cetaphil.

If you are looking for some sort of strong cleaner then this is not the product for you. But it’s really soft on my skin which is important to me.

I noticed that this face wash was too airy and light for me, therefore it did not do much for my face. I recently found out that this face wash also promotes the growth of Malassezia, which means it promotes fungal acne, so I definitely do not recommend for someone with acne or fungal acne.

I recieved this as a sample.This is my first time using this cleanser after having it recommended to me by a friend because I have sensitive skin. I was surprised that it has a gel-like consistency. And you can even use it without water and it claims to remove makeup and it does remove my makeup.. It's soap-free, so it doesn't foam/bubble. Its very gentle on my skin and the best thing is that it leaves my skin soft after. Fragrance free and dermatologist texted making it a safe product to use. I am telling all my friends and family about it!! It feels like I already have a layer of thin lotion on.
