Excellent cleaning but not very user-friendly
I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. The Good: Wow! This toothbrush leaves my teeth so clean! Even several hours after brushing, my teeth still feel as clean and smooth as right after a professional dental cleaning and polishing. My gums feel healthier, too. I think the ultrasonic waves clean between my teeth better than other electric toothbrushes I`ve used. I like that the brush handle is lighter weight and less bulky than older electric toothbrushes and that it comes with a travel case. I could actually see myself bringing it on a trip. The travel case has room to hold 2 brush heads. For use at home, 1 charge lasts 2 full weeks, so it takes up minimal counter space. The toothbrush is very easy to assemble, comes pre-charged, and has a very compact charging base. The Bad: I was surprised to read in the manual that a different brush head is recommended for each of the toothbrushes 3 brushing modes (clean, white, and gum care). This made me feel like I could only use the white brushing mode, which is a 2.5 minute brushing cycle. One of the large buttons on the toothbrush switches between brushing modes, but I always kept it on white mode as the brush came with a W brush head (despite the manual recommending a newer W2 brush head). The other settings were less intuitive to use and require referring to the manual each time a change is needed. To turn functions such as EasyStart, Brush Head Replacement Reminder, or Pressure Sensor on and off, you hold down the start button until it beeps a certain number of times, and then release the button. A triple tone of low-medium-high or high-medium-low means the feature has been activated or deactivated. You have to check the manual to see which feature is after 2 beeps, after 3 beeps, etc. and which set of 3 tones indicates activated vs. deactivated. There`s no visual indicator on the brush for which of these features are turned on. The Ugly: The toothbrush is very loud and the vibrations are so strong that toothpaste flew out of my mouth and only my bathroom mirror when I opened my mouth slightly to reposition the brush to reach certain parts of my mouth. It was loud enough that I couldn`t hear someone talking right next to me. The toothbrush also has 4 very bright white lights on the toothbrush that turn on as soon as you pick up the toothbrush and stay on throughout use. I may cover these with tape as I find that uncomfortably bright, especially right before bed. Other thoughts: It would be nice if the toothbrush came with something for storing more brush heads on the bathroom counter. It would be ideal to purchase 3 different brush heads to be able to use the 3 brushing modes, and some households might want more than 1 person to share the same toothbrush base but with their own brush heads. Another electric toothbrush I`ve used came with a countertop case that holds 4 brush heads and has an easy way to color code different people`s brush heads. Something like that would be an improvement for this product. The travel case is bulky for just storing 2 brush heads--it`s designed for when you need to store the tooth brush base and the charger, too. The bottom line for me is that I`ll probably continue to use this toothbrush once a day, but use a different one that`s quieter, less messy, and doesn`t have bright lights at other times. The quality and outcome are great, but it would benefit from some changes to make it more user-friendly.
Needs to be redesigned with durable buttons.
I have used sonicare for years, and personally love the product itself and it’s performance. My problem is the turn on and off button always disintegrates in less than a year, causing the toothbrush not to turn on or off properly, so your forced to buy another one. For the price of this toothbrush, it should not need to be replaced in less than a year. Three years in a row! Phillip sonicare, please address the issue of the on off button disintegrating due to the fabric it’s made out of.

Love this toothbrush!
I Love that this comes in pink. Sonicare doesn’t have the most colorful or fun options when it comes to their line of electric toothbrushes. So when I saw this one in pink I was so excited. I also love the pressure sensor since I’ve always pushed too hard so now I have receding gums on over half of my teeth. So this had been a helpful tool. Also, the battery lasts a REALLY long time. With my previous electric toothbrush (it wasn’t a Philips Sonicare one), it had to sit on the charger at all times because otherwise the battery would die. I didn’t have room for a charger to sit on my bathroom countertop since the space is already limited so I thought this toothbrush would be better since the charger is so small. It was a nice surprise when I realized that I don’t even need the charger out on the counter 24/7 because it stays charged for a few weeks at a time! I also love the sensor that tells you when it’s time to change out you’re toothbrush head. Overall this is a really nice toothbrush and it has a lot of features that are really nice to have. The pink color is almost a pastel color which I also love! I hope Sonicare keeps coming out with new designs and colors, etc. The only reason why I decided to purchase a Philips Sonicare toothbrush is because my dentist kept telling me at EVERY single visit that I needed to get a Philips Sonicare toothbrush. I’d never had one before and I really liked the electric toothbrush I was using at the time. My dentist would always tell me how much better it is compared to every other brand out there, etc. I thought that if the toothbrush had the word Sonicare or Sonic that it was the same as the Philips Sonicare but he informed me that they are not the same and to make sure it’s a Philips Sonicare toothbrush. I kept putting it off until the day he told me that he can tell the second he looks in someone’s mouth is they are using a Philips Sonicare toothbrush or another brand. I have a really awesome dentist and he’s always in top of the latest literature and guidelines, etc. He does both cosmetic dentistry and regular dentistry too. He owns his own practice (two of them actually) and he doesn’t hire other dentists, it’s just him. He cares and has always been upfront and honest with me from day 1. He doesn’t try to upsell you or tell you something’s wrong when it’s not. He’s talked me out of doing Zoom whitening in his office many times because he doesn’t think my teeth look as bad as I do. So I 100% trust him. He’d been telling me to get a Philips Sonicare toothbrush for so long, so I finally decided to make the switch (primarily because of what he’d told me that day - that he could tell which patients of his brush with a Philips Sonicare and which do not). I’m so glad I made the switch. I’ll never go back to any other brand. This toothbrush definitely brushes a lot better - you can feel the difference when you turn on a Philips Sonicare toothbrush and compare how it feels (dry and using your hands) to another brand - you can feel a major difference just from touching them with your finger. I wish I would’ve switched sooner. If you’re reading this, trust me on this one, you’ll regret not buying it sooner so get one as soon as you can. Your teeth and mouth will be grateful! The only thing that I can think of when it comes to negatives/room for improvement (besides the lack of color options) would be also the lack of different styles. They all have the same shape and general look to them. It would be nice if they had for ex: a really slim one (that’s what I liked about my last toothbrush) or a small one (not a travel one which they already have) but just one that’s a lot smaller but still has the same functions as the big ones - I’d totally buy a new one if they came in a smaller version (as long as they had it in pink or violet, etc.). They should do a collaboration with Hello Kitty! If they ever do, I hope they not only do the usual red Hello Kitty look but and a pink Hello Kitty too. And lastly, these are noisy - mine is anyways. So I wish they were a lot quieter. Otherwise these are amazing and I agree with my dentist on this one - Philips Sonicare is the very BEST of the best when it comes to the electric toothbrush!
We have used Philips Sonic care for years and have never experienced what happened with this one. This last one we bought didn’t last at all, mine broke the piece that hold the brush after 1 month of use and my husband’s just did the same. It never happened anything like that with any of our past toothbrushes.

Don’t buy this they won’t last
I bought this that only lasted for a year. And way too expensive that didn’t last longer. Now my toothbrush Is creating a lot of noise and i saw a lot of reviews they have the same problem. I won’t recommend this product and don’t waste your money for this kind of electric toothbrush!
Hi there, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are sorry to hear about the experience with your Philips Sonicare toothbrush. This is not the experience we want you to have. We suggest you try a few possible causes and solutions to see if you can fix the issue. Sonicare toothbrushes use powerful vibrations to clean your teeth. The noise is louder than what a manual toothbrush makes. Your toothbrush will be noisier if you switch it on without a brush head. Make sure your toothbrush always has a brush head attached. A loose brush head could be the cause of your toothbrush's unusually loud noise. Make sure the brush head is firmly attached to the handle and isn't moving about. The handle and brush head will still have a tiny gap there to allow for vibration. Disconnect the brush handle from the head. Switch on your toothbrush. If the noise stops, the brush head is faulty or worn out. If the noise is still loud or unusual, the toothbrush may be broken. Your brush head has to be changed for a new one. We recommend replacing your brush head every three months. We hope this was helpful. If the issue still persists, please get in touch via Social Media. Amazing cleaning action!
Amazing cleaning action! I’ve owned many Sonicare but this one cleans almost as good as the dentist. The settings are great, the sonic power is just awesome. Just when I thought it can’t get any better than my last sonic toothbrush, this one takes the cake. I bought the 2 pack and my husband loves his just as much. My gums are also in much better shape because of the style of brush head.

I give it a try!
I owned Braun before I got Philips Sonicare. The vibration motion of Philips sonicare is differ from Braun. Braun does circle motion of the bristle, sonicare vibrate the whole body of the brush head. It takes time to get used to the change. I trust others reviews, so I give this a try. Motor wise is quieter, the body smooth for more hygiene even though it does not help much in the shower, so I only use at the sink. Very good price when Sam’s club goes on sales.

Watch out this is NOT two Brand New Toothbrushes
one toothbrush is a refurb, battery will not fully charge

They don’t make them like they used to.
Flimsy and poor quality now. At least, this particular model definitely is.

Won't charge
Won't charge after a few weeks. One of the toothbrushes suddenly stopped charging.
