I received a free unit for product testing to review, but this toothbrush exceeded expectations of what a powered toothbrush can do. The most impressive features were the quadpacer and the pressure sensitivity. It was very helpful to know that I may have been brushing too hard at times, and the brush pulses when too much force is being used. Similarly the quadpacer is a great reminder to brush each area of your mouth equally instead of guesstimating while doing it manually. Although, I would have liked some additional time added for tongue cleaning. It`s great for teeth cleaning and breaking the mouth into quadrants and areas, but would have to restart to add additional tongue brushing. Teeth felt cleaner after each brush. Have only used it the brush for about 10 days so haven`t seen much in the sense of whitening so I can`t speak to that impact. The lighting on the brush can be bright. The replacement heads are more expensive. When brushing, I seemed to gleek more if my mouth wasn`t fully closed. All in all, very pleased with the brush. Interested to see if the whitening improves and how the next dental check up goes after using this brush extensively.

I received a free sample of this Sonicare to review and I was impressed. I own an older model of the Sonicare, and I must say this one is certainly an upgrade. I like how there are 3 cleaning modes. I also enjoy that if you are brushing too rough, it alerts you via pulsing so that you can let up.

The ProtectiveClean 6100 Sonicare toothbrush was super easy to assemble and it came already charged for immediate use. There are 3 modes for brushing: clean, white & gum care. After cleaning your teeth you can change the mode to white to brighten up your front teeth and/or gum to massage your gums. Both of these added features are appealing to me because I'm a big time coffee drinker and I'm self-conscious that my teeth are not white enough. Also, I was recently told by my dentist that my gums are beginning to recede, so the gum feature to stimulate & massage my gums can be helpful in preventing further receding. My favorite feature is the Quadpacer, which beeps every 30 seconds so that you can evenly brush each of the 4 sections of the mouth. I like this feature because I know my teeth and mouth are getting a thorough cleaning. This product also comes with a travel case, however, I probably won’t use it. I don’t travel often and when I do, it’s usually for just a couple of days. During my time away, I use a manual toothbrush which I will most likely continue to use. But, if I change my mind, then it’s nice to have the travel case which will fit the Sonicare perfectly. My one (small) issue with this product is that I keep pressing the wrong button to power the toothbrush. The power button is located above the cleaning/intensity mode button. It might just be the way I hold the brush but I keep accidentally changing the cleaning/intensity mode when I really want to power on or off the brush. I guess it's just something I'll need to get used to! I truly appreciate the opportunity to receive the ProtectiveClean 6100 Sonicare tooth brush for my unbiased review. I had been using an older model of the Sonicare; I think it's part of the "E" series, so it's nice to get an upgrade! The ProtectiveClean 6100 definitely meets my expectations for a Sonicare toothbrush and the Philips brand. My first Sonicare was originally referred to me by my dentist, and I’ve always been pleased with the quality of the toothbrush and how well it cleans my teeth and mouth. I’m confident that the 6100 will exceed my expectations because it has added features and newer technology then my original Sonicare

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In exchange for a completely unbiased review, I was given this Sonicare product to try. First I will say that I use electric toothbrushes on a regular basis already, as my dentist has recommended this and I have found that they do a much better job of cleaning teeth than the manual ones. This particular brush, however, is much better than those that I have purchased before. First, I really like the sleek, slim design, especially since it sits on the counter in the bathroom. It is very lightweight, which I also appreciate because I have wrist arthritis which can make things difficult to grasp. Next, I really LOVE the timing mechanism that lets you know when to move to the next “quadrant” of teeth so that you brush as long as you need to - and you have the option to time it longer for better whitening effect. Let’s face it, no one accurately counts seconds when brushing teeth, so this does it for you to ensure you do it properly! Finally, it is obvious that the bristles of the whitening brushhead are very effective. Honestly, I can say that after brushing with the 6100 my teeth feel and look more clean and polished than with any other toothbrushes that I have used at home. I do want to mention that I have also used a whitening toothpaste in conjunction with the brush over the last 10 days. If I had children still at home, I would absolutely insist that they use this brush to ensure they brushed their teeth long enough and effectively.

I finally made the switch to an electric toothbrush about a month ago. I originally had the Oral-B 8000 and it was too bulky, too loud, just too much. So I exchanged it for a Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 6100 and I’ve never loved brushing more! I love the three levels of intensities and that I can adjust the timing of brushing by selecting a different mode. The battery lasts me about 10 days before it starts telling me it’s dying. And even then, I can use it another 4 or 5 before it’s time to charge it. Today I had a dental cleaning and my hygienist kept commenting on how nice my gums look and how clean my teeth are, that there was virtually nothing in terms of tartar or plaque. I’m so glad I decided to finally up my brushing game with an electric brush.

I recieved a free product sample of the sonicare protectiveClean 6100 in exchange for my honest review and after using for a couple weeks I am very happy with its proformance. It has a gentile start feature which is especially nice if you have never used this type of toothbrush, the tingle of the sonic cleaning can be too much for some people at first. The built in 2 minute timer and pressure sensor are two included features which are nice to have, when you hear the beep you just move to the next area until you have brushed all your teeth. The only down side that I can think of is that there is only one brush head included, it would have been nice if it came with two heads but that said I will continue to use this brush, It leaves my teeth feeling smooth and clean and my gums are in better shape than before.

FEATURES: I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. Two things I liked immediately about this toothbrush were a higher vibration frequency and smaller brush head design than my previous electronic toothbrush (a competitor`s). I find it easier to position the brush where I want it. RESULTS: I have a small chip on a tooth where I normally get some coffee staining and right away I saw that this new toothbrush has definitely caused the staining to decrease! TECHNOLOGY: I noticed a mark at the base of where the head plugs onto the toothbrush handle and was surprised to find that the toothbrush can detect which brush head is attached. This will allow the toothbrush to monitor use and let us know when it is time to replace it. Since my partner brushes more frequently than I, this feature will make it easy to know when it is time for a new brush head. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product and plan to continue using it.

I bought this set for home and away and took advantage of the brush head deals as well, Sam's Club had the BEST price that beat every retailer on the block and the package deal on the brush heads are WORTH it, I believe I am good to for at least 3 years. I replaced my aging Water Pick and Oral B. This works as advertised and will play around with the intensity levels to feel what's right for me.

I received a sample of this product for a review and I hadn`t thought it would be much better or different than the name brand electronic toothbrush that I already had but it really was. I love all the settings `clean, white and gum care` and I have tried them all but I tend to choose `white` with a whitening toothpaste and the difference shows. The Sonicare does not just brighten the shade of white that my teeth are but it gives them a surface shine. After I used the toothbrush once I had that smooth teeth feeling like you have after you`ve been for a dentist cleaning. I already floss and use and an electric toothbrush but I don`t think I'll use anything but the Sonicare from now on. It tickled a little bit the first time I used the Sonicare but I got used to it after a couple of uses. I want to buy another one for my spouse because I feel like it gives a better, cleaner result and I feel weird having something that works so much better and not being able to share it with my family.

I received this product in exchange for my honest opinion. I love this Sonicare toothbrush. I've had 3 other electric toothbrushes over the past several years--this one ranks in the top. One thing I've learned electric toothbrushes aren't created equal. The last one I had was disappointedly weak. This one is powerful and makes me feel like my teeth get really clean. Before using an electric toothbrush, I had a history of brushing my teeth too hard and damaging my gums. My favorite feature is the "Pressure Sensor". If I use too much pressure, the sound changes so I can adjust. There's other features including an indicator that the brush head needs to be replaced. Another cool option, is if you want you can disable these features. One of the features I found confusing was the "modes"--different brush heads were mentioned and I wasn't sure if the mode only worked with the special brush heads. The look and feel of the product is solid. I love the travel case too. Definitely two thumbs up.
