Great item. Daughter loves it. She enjoys batting practice so much more. Has improved her hitting after using for only 3 weeks. Her coach is also impressed. Minor drawback, set it up on concrete patio and it was rained on. Steel pipe in the middle rusted and caused rust stains on concrete. Just a heads up. Still love the product.

We have only had this for a couple of weeks, but the kids love using it and it works great. There is going to be 7-12 inches of snow today in Kansas City and the kids will be able to practice hitting on this in the basement. Once they begin hitting on it, they don't want to stop, so it definitely make practice time more fun. This will help improve their hand eye coordination and get them tons of reps to build up their strength before the season. Looking forward to seeing how this translates to pratice and games this summer. The machine itself seems to be put together really well. it is very stable even and it stays upright and doesn't slide around even when I swing on it. I am 6' and weigh 190lbs and I am taking full swings at it. This is much better than standing there holding the hitting stick and you can tell when you get a good hit or not because the arm will just bounce up and down if you don't hit it cleanly. Not sure how it would hold up to an entire team using it daily, but for my 2 boys (age 5 and 10), it works great and I don't see them wearing it out anytime soon.

Great price, shipping and condition. I attempted to purchase previously through Amazon and received a damaged box along with a used product. My daughter was very thrilled and used it immediately. Product is heavy when stored but also very sturdy while being used. Great addition to her at home training.

This has improved my son's batting tremendously. We have also been taking our's to practice and letting the entire team take turns on it and it is helping everyone improve their swing and make the ball connect with the bat. Love that it is taken down so easily and fits into a bag for easy transfer!

I do like the product and so does my son.I've been contemplating purchasing this item for a while now.I don't like the fact that you have to keep assembling/disassembling the product each time it's used,it's a hassel and annoying.It's also very heavy to carry,even though it comes in a carrying bag.The heaviness is good for stability purposes,but for transport-well that's a horse of a different color,especially for a child.The item should fold up flat for easy portability and be easy for a child to carry,with or without a carrying bag.Except for the suddenly reduced price just recently,I was going to spend the money,much more,and get the R.B.I.Vortex.The product is the same concept,but weighs just 18lbs.,as per the video w/the child lifting it up above his head from the ground,and folds flat in seconds and assembles in seconds with all parts attached and no tools needed.Sometimes spending more can bring you less headache in the long run.

I would have given this 5 stars if there was some way to stop the arm from swinging all the way around after being hit. I'm sure it swings both ways to accommodate left and right handed batters; but there should be a way to stop the arm to prevent tearing up the bungie cords.

I like the swing trainer, but it's heavy, and the bag they supply is trash, didn't last for 6 months. SKLZ, once you finally get in touch with someone, refuses to replace the bag, or offer a replacement despite the warranty. Now I'm shopping for a heavy duty canvas bag to get it to practices and games.

I purchased this for my 7-year-old son to use. Set it up in our basement during winter months and it is a good hitting trainer. I coach high school age kids too but I don't think that I would let them use this. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure that it would help and they could use it, but I know that they would try to hit it as hard as they can and I don't think that it would hold up long to that. It was very easy to set up. It is a little on the heavy side but I think that will help its durability. This is a great deal too from Walmart...cheapest price around.

This trainer was easy to set up and came with a carrying duffel bag. It is very robust and strong enough for hitters big and small. I wish I'd bought this last season when I was considering it as it is getting hours of use in the first several weeks. Primary use was for my 8 year old son but everyone in the family has had fun with it.
