I replaced original GMC tires that had a great ride around town and on the highway. And I got 23mpg when I kept speed at 70. But If the road was older or broken the ride was terrible and noise outrageous. Because we travel, I needed to correct this. The new Firestones are quiet everywhere, but have changed our ride. We feel the road much more. Although quiet we feel any imperfections. We had our tire shop balance them at 200 miles. That helped but our overall ride around town isn't as smooth as it was. I'm wondering if I should have gotten a wider tire? The long highway drive this winter should be better.

Sounds better, rides better so far. Old tires had somewhere between 60,000 and 91,289 miles on them, were quite noisy, rode rough and were down to the wear bars. These new LE3's are quite an improvement. I guess time and miles put on will tell the real story.

After 15,000 miles, all 4 of my tires are missing chunks and have several cracks about to leave chunks out. I went to see if they were under warranty. Salesman said it was from driving on a dirt road so no. I haven't had a flat yet so roadside assistance doesn't replace them. I do not off-road this truck. I have less than 1/8 mile of dirt between my house and paved highway. How can you make a truck tire that can't handle dirt?

Well the tires are great! I did a lot of research. However, very disappointed in the morons that installed them. A couple of weeks after installation I noticed a strange feeling in the drive. I stopped at a different Firestone, closer to work, and they discovered some serious issues with the install. First, one of the wheels was almost ready to fly off as 3 of the 5 bolts that hold the wheel on were so loose they were doing nothing. Secondly, they removed all the tires and check the balance. 3 of the 4 tires were 1.5 oz out of balance. That is major! This Firestone place repaired everything, rebalanced the tires and sent me on my way with no charge. So, one bad Firestone experience was replaced by a good Firestone experience.

So far I have nothing but good things to state about these tires. They are working very well in the city, highway and dirt roads. I will write another review once winter comes to review how they are on wet conditions and snow. They are very quite tires and comfortable.

These are the best tires I have owned and I could not recommend them any more highly. I have a 2014 Subaru Forester that is about 50/50 city/highway driving. It rarely is on gravel and never off-road and never at the track (or driven like it is at the track.) Nearly all the miles are on dry pavement with occasional rain and very rare snow. All of the previous tires we have had on the Forester were much noisier - including Champion Fuel Fighter and FS All Season. We noticed how much less noise there was on the highway immediately. At 75-80 mph, there used to be so much noise that it wasn't comfortable to carry on a conversation - now it is fine. We have 15,000 miles on this set and it looks like they are going to wear *much* better than the previous tires - we still have over 8/32nds tread (starting at 10/32nds) meaning we are only a quarter of the way to 2/32nds (when they have to be replaced.) When I was shopping, the Destination LE3 kept coming up on the short lists (5-8 brands/offerings - LE3 being the only FS entry in the list) of the best tires for my car. Most of the others were quite a bit more expensive. The LE3s are the most expensive that FS offers for my car, but that is still only 50% more than Firestone's least expensive (and with how well they are wearing, they may actually cost less per mile to own.) I'm very happy and confident with their performance. I have a lifetime alignment at FS and I've felt that FS has been generous with prorating remaining mileage on the old tires when I get a new set. So 5 stars across the board and I could not be happier with these tires.

This is my second set of tires on this vehicle, this set of Firestone Destinations that I have purchased over the years. Can't say enough about them. The old Michelin's were hard and slippery, these Destination LE3 completely transformed the ride of my truck and instill confidence once again that it can go through anything I need it to. We use our vehicle mostly to take long road-trips in. The previous tires had almost 50,000. Miles on them at replacement time. We take at least 2 road tips a year that are around 2500-3000 miles round trip. With my previous general tires that came on the vehicle I would get a solid 22 mpg. With The new firestones I get 21.8. I also notice on our first trip with the tires a slight vibration at around 79-84 miles per hour. I usually never drive this fast and I would only notice the vibration on the road-trip- in places that we could not avoid the higher speeds. I have an appointment for an oil change in a few days and have requested for my new tires that only have right at 5000 miles to be re balanced. Other than those two issues the tires are fine. We have driven through a lot of very hard rain and the tires did fine. I just hope we can get the shimmy or vibration issue resolved. The vibration is not bad. Just a slight vibration. I we didn't take road-trips I prob wouldn't notice it. But. This should not be happening. Thank you Jay B.

My first set of Destination tires had about 50k miles before I replaced them. They still had tread but were over 7 years old. My 02 explorer is a seasonal drive only so age of tire was starting to show. I just purchased my 2nd set of Destinations and couldn't be more pleased. Excessive road noise on my old Destinations grew louder with age. The new tires are so quite, my 20 year old explorer rides like new. The handling is precise and the vehicle tracks straight where I steer it. I could have purchased any tire but I'm glad I went with the new Destination.

Well it was time to get new tires for my Ridgeline and Firestone has always been my first choice for getting them. I was happy with the installation. The truck's ride and handing seemed to improve with the new tires. Steering felt more stable and responsive. Tires are never an inexpensive necessity but I felt these tires were worth the investment.
