I always thought coffee was just coffee, and they were all just about the same, even with the Keurig...UNTIL I tried this k-cup...the flavor is the best I have ever tried, from any brand or any flavor. It is that good. not too strong, not too mild, PERFECTION. I usually preferred flavored kinds but this changed my preference and now this is the only one I purchase. I am addicted to this kind!!!!!!

Obviously everybody has their own preference and everybody's tastes are different and for me, this was a horrible coffee. I like really bold coffee, but only if it has lower acidity and is very smooth with minimal bitterness. This one is slightly bitter but I really disliked the acidity and slightly metallic aftertaste the most. It kind of stunk up the kitchen while brewing too.

Just blew me away from the first try. This reminds me so much of the coffee I had in small bakery's, donut shops downtown and the like. Just hits it on the nose! I also really like the Carabou Blend however, this one hits it spot on for my drive in to the office. :) Awesome job in my opinion.

Medium Roast is so rich and full-bodied, it is the only K-cup coffee I have ever been able to brew on the large cup size in my Keurig. A friend sent me (another "donut" name) coffee for Christmas - popular and well advertised brand - and it pales in comparison, even in a medium sized cup full. I'm saving the gift coffee for those who just have a cup to be sociable, and my Donut Shop K-cups for the serious coffee drinkers like myself.

This tastes exactly look good, strong donut shop/breakfast place coffee. I've only had my Keurig for a day, but this is the best of the half-dozen or so I've sampled. I prefer a good medium roast, just like Goldilocks. Not too strong and not too weak. I primarily drink decaf due to health restrictions, but this is a fine caffeinated medium roast.

We didn't get a lot of coffee growing up because coffee was for grownups. Once in a while the kids got to share a cup of coffee for special occasions and this coffee brings back some of those memories of special times. I tell my husband that it tastes a lot like coffee you would get at a Kettle or Denny's but another reason I like this product is because it reminds me of McDonald's Coffee. That first cup of coffee in the morning that's gotta get you going.

Donut Shop is what we have on hand for casual drinking, so we've gone through lots of it. It is agreeable to everyone's palate in my household. Smooth taste, easy drinking, rich color, roasted just right. It does remind you of what you'd sit down and drink at a diner!

This is teriffic morning coffee that has a gentle aroma to wake up to.To my taste buds it has a very even flavor that starts and finishes well with no bad after taste.Best with a little real cream,no sweetener or artificial creamer.One of the best coffees I've ever had. I would strongly reccomend it to anyone ! Well worth a try !

On the plus side, this coffee was everything I remember about small breakfast diner coffee... on the negative side, this coffee was everything I remember about small breakfast diner coffee. The aroma was strong and pleasant. Good flavor when I tasted it unaltered, even better when I kicked it up to my usual black, double-sweet. Unfortunately it has that thin mouthfeel that coats your tongue and doesn't seem to go away, which brings with it an almost burnt-bean aftertaste over time. I think if I'd been drinking this one with breakfast rather than on it's own, I might have enjoyed it a bit more, and I think it could make for a good breakfast coffee. I just prefer my coffee to be a bit more of an all-around coffee that doesn't require a palate cleanser to enjoy.

This is one of my favorite coffees. It's well balanced, not bitter or sweet. My other top pick is Timothy's Rainforest Espresso. Tully's Italian Roast and Green Mountain Sumatra are close behind. The first 2 tend to be slightly sweet, while the second 2 tend to be slightly green or bitter. but when I use French Vanilla creamer, which I usually do, they are all good. Many past reviewers equate "Extra Bold" with "Dark Roast". "Extra Bold" means that there are more coffee grounds in the K-cup to make it stronger. This is a "Medium Roast" coffee. If you prefer "Dark Roast", try the other 3 that I mentioned.
