I usually like my coffee strong but this stuff is too much for my taste. It is very acidic and usually leaves me with terrible heartburn after drinking. It does smell heavenly while brewing which is nice so I just sniff the aroma and then my husband drinks it. If you're looking for something more akin to jet fuel than coffee, this might be right up your alley.

The comments about this coffee having an aftertaste is very true. I bought this by mistaking thinking it was the Donut House blend and I was disappointed because it's bitter and the aftertaste stays with you. Donut House is much better, especially if you like "DD".

Just blew me away from the first try. This reminds me so much of the coffee I had in small bakery's, donut shops downtown and the like. Just hits it on the nose! I also really like the Carabou Blend however, this one hits it spot on for my drive in to the office. :) Awesome job in my opinion.

This is one of my favorite coffees. It's well balanced, not bitter or sweet. My other top pick is Timothy's Rainforest Espresso. Tully's Italian Roast and Green Mountain Sumatra are close behind. The first 2 tend to be slightly sweet, while the second 2 tend to be slightly green or bitter. but when I use French Vanilla creamer, which I usually do, they are all good. Many past reviewers equate "Extra Bold" with "Dark Roast". "Extra Bold" means that there are more coffee grounds in the K-cup to make it stronger. This is a "Medium Roast" coffee. If you prefer "Dark Roast", try the other 3 that I mentioned.

I was not a big time coffee drinker outside of the Espresso shop until we got our Keurig. I love this machine and was excited to try the different varieties of K-Cups. My first experience was with an extra bold roast of another brand and it was so-so... A little TOO bold for me. When, I found Coffee People's Donut Shop Coffee, I was hooked! This stuff is heaven in a cup! I have recommended it several times and each time I am thanked for turning yet another Keurig owner on to such an awesome coffee.

This coffee was just terrible! It came out waaaay too strong. I have small mugs so I thought a medium roast would be ok. I suggest using a large cup if you want to try this coffee, but it is very bitter, had a nasty after taste, and didn't even smell good. I literally had to spit it down the sink.

I have been a Keurig coffee user for 2 years. Donut shop and Donut shop decaf were my very favorite coffees. I still rely on Donut shop decaf to get me through my coffee needs during the day, but Donut shop regular is not as full-flavored as it was a year ago. I still like it, but went searching for something bolder and found Folgers Black Silk. It has the full flavor I love in the morning, but it isn't over-powering. I am ordering Donut shop dark to see if it will be bold and not bitter. I would recommend Donut shop regular to a friend if they liked mild coffee. It isn't bad, just not exciting to get my day started!

This is easily one of my favorite coffee's. I think favorites are a toss up between Dunkin Donuts, Gevalia Traditional Roast and Millstone Bed & Breakfast blend. That being said, this coffee reminds me of Dunkin Donuts and is just as pleasant as the other flavors. Of course, I like to mix things up once in a while but this is my normal drinking coffee.

A friend of mine gave me the unused portion of this coffee because she didn't like it at all, and after tasting it I had to agree. It was acidic to the point of sourness, and just didn't have a good flavor overall. The Treehugger cups are much better as far as extra-bold medium roast coffees go.

My mother got me a Keurig coffe machine for my birthday. I like coffee but am the only one in the house who drinks it. This machine is great for that. Then I tried several different sample k-cups that came with it, and this is by far the best coffee I have ever had. I've had coffee in gourmet super-expensive restaurants that was supposed to be top of the line, but this stuff... my favorite. Ummmm, delicious!
