Whenever I am in the mood for a good cup of coffee, I like drinking Keurig original donut shop blend. It tastes great every time and I feel like I am really drinking a cup of coffee from my favorite donut shop. I highly recommend getting these donut shop pods!

This is by far the best K-cup I have tried so far! The blend is attractive in fullness and flavor. No bitterness or aftertaste, my coworker proceeded to get me hooked on this brand and as expected I in turn invited my wife to try it as well. Let's just say it is running out quickly and there is a stash at work for us guys as well. Great job, a well blended flavor that will not disappoint, no suggestions on what could be improved!

Always buy Donut Shop, but the most recent boxes- regardless of quantity or where purchased- haves major issues with top seal. More often than not, I cannot just fix one cup because the seal opens and coffee grounds are in my cup and all in keurig!! After I clean everything, try again. It’s hit or miss because sometimes I use one but my max has been 4 tries for one cup. Not a great start to the day!!! Need to fix this or I’m going to look for another option.

Some background info to help you understand why I might not like Donut Shop medium extra bold: I am a huge fan of either a Dunkin Donuts or McDonalds type of coffee...not too incredibly strong or weak, but definitely not a Starbucks type brew like their Pike's Place signature roast (that stuff is a colon cleanse waiting to happen)...as you can tell, I'm not a fan of anything real strong and bold, and I would say that this is on the verge of tasting very similiar to a Starbucks type of regular coffee...if you want a strong coffee, then this is for you! I was shocked as to how strong and bitter this blend really is. Having asked my next door neighbor this evening what she thought about it, she absolutely loved the Donut shop blend...thought it was just AS good as Starbucks. Hope this helps you make your decision in case you're on the fence.

I first tried this product from the variety pack that came with my brewer and it stood out as one of my favorites! It is a great medium roast that is bold without the bitterness. It's perfect for anytime and my favorite for dunking iced oatmeal cookies! It's also great to brew on the larger cup selection without losing the flavor and boldness ~ perfect for travel mugs.

I was really looking forward to trying this coffee because it was rated so highly on every coffee review website. I bought a variety pack of coffee and this one happened to be in it. I picked this one first and was HIGHLY disappointed. The only thing that was good about it was the smell, other than that, nothing. It was watery, weak, had a bad after taste. I liked nothing about the taste whatsoever.

I just purchased my Keurig last week, and am going through the sample pack that was included in my machine. This is the 4th coffee one I've tried, and my favorite so far! I've been looking for that "special" Keurig fresh-tasting cup, and I found it! I've been using a french press for my coffee, which gives me pretty good cups and wanted something that beat it out. Good flavor for the factory-set size (I believe this is 8 oz. in the Platinum). Recommend!

I have tried over half of the "reg" coffee (non-flavored) on this Keurig site. This is our all time favorite! Strong,but not over the top. We usually drink our coffee black. When I'm in the mood for creamer,I do prefer a stronger coffee. But for an every day great cup of black coffee,you cant beat it! Highly recommended!

I've read some negative comments about the Donut Shop coffee and had to respond. I just received my Keurig and the sample coffees inside. This was one of my FIRST choices to try .. and I have to say that it definitely reminds me of a Donut Shop .. slightly on the 'stout' side (which I love), but I don't find it bitter or with an aftertaste. Truly enjoyed this first cup of coffee in my new Keurig. ; )

the last two boxes I have purchased almost every other K-Cup left me with a mug full of grounds. I have had this problem only with this particular brand of K-Cup. The flavor is smooth, a bit mild for my taste but by no account does it taste bad. Its just hard to justify purchasing again when a good amount of the cups have gone to waste.
