I have tried many types of K-cups but this is my favorite by far. Smooth, rich flavor that gives a kick. This is the first bold flavor blend that I enjoyed. I do tend to get a few grounds in my cup but I can usually get them out. If you need a jolt in the morning, or mid-afternoon this is the one for you.

when ordering online beware that they will double bill u without letting u know then they say there holding that money till u recieve ur coffe and will replace it then hgope they really do would not be so bad if we knew this upfront glad it wasnt a big order last order ill place

Some background info to help you understand why I might not like Donut Shop medium extra bold: I am a huge fan of either a Dunkin Donuts or McDonalds type of coffee...not too incredibly strong or weak, but definitely not a Starbucks type brew like their Pike's Place signature roast (that stuff is a colon cleanse waiting to happen)...as you can tell, I'm not a fan of anything real strong and bold, and I would say that this is on the verge of tasting very similiar to a Starbucks type of regular coffee...if you want a strong coffee, then this is for you! I was shocked as to how strong and bitter this blend really is. Having asked my next door neighbor this evening what she thought about it, she absolutely loved the Donut shop blend...thought it was just AS good as Starbucks. Hope this helps you make your decision in case you're on the fence.

I first tried this product from the variety pack that came with my brewer and it stood out as one of my favorites! It is a great medium roast that is bold without the bitterness. It's perfect for anytime and my favorite for dunking iced oatmeal cookies! It's also great to brew on the larger cup selection without losing the flavor and boldness ~ perfect for travel mugs.

This brew isn't truly a dark, more a full bodied city roast. It has nice body, stands over strongly flavored creamers and is not bitter. Nutty, and mellow. A good one size fits all roast to keep around. Everyone I'd given a cup of this brew to loved it. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it's not interesting. There are no high notes or developing flavors, it's pretty flat. But if you need a go-to one size fits all coffee this is it.

I use this k-cup nearly every day. It's has a nice, bold flavor without being overly strong and offensive. Another bonus is that the acidity isn't as strong as some of the other k-cups that I've tried (my stomach appreciates that). It tastes just like the coffee that I get (and love) from my local donut shop. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Always buy Donut Shop, but the most recent boxes- regardless of quantity or where purchased- haves major issues with top seal. More often than not, I cannot just fix one cup because the seal opens and coffee grounds are in my cup and all in keurig!! After I clean everything, try again. It’s hit or miss because sometimes I use one but my max has been 4 tries for one cup. Not a great start to the day!!! Need to fix this or I’m going to look for another option.

I always drink coffee with cream and sugar. I found I could cut back on how much sugar I put in this coffee. It smells great like I was in a coffee shop. It was pretty strong and it tasted smooth. There is an after taste like any coffee but I like that, so it just depends on how you like your coffee. I would suggest you at least buy a sample of this coffee. :D

Sorry Coffee People. I like your products but you really missed the mark with this one. Yes, it's like coffee from a "donut shop"... a dusty old donut shop that uses 5 year old coffee and lets it sit on the burner all day. I made myself take a second and third sip just to confirm it. This stuff is truly awful!

I like it even better in the afternoon & evening over morning. Tried the 10 oz. and the aftertaste was bitter and watered down. All k-cups that I have tried taste better with the 8 oz. setting. My Wife used the 10 oz. setting because she was used to a bigger cup. When I convinced her to switch to 8 oz. setting she was amazed at the improvement in taste. Bigger is not always better.
