The main issue with this tire is that it is about two inches more narrow than the factory Carlisle tire on my Craftsman lawn mower. See photo with new tire on left, stock tire on right. The second issue is the "collapsed" way the tire came, as others have mentioned, which makes mounting very difficult. The way I finally seated the tire was, A) get one side seated by pressing, hammering, soaping, pushing, standing, -- this takes extra hands and feet. Once side A is on then, B), pull side B to the rim while airing the tire. This takes a second person as well. Use lots of soap and water to help the bead slide on.

This is the only small tractor tire I have seen that is 4-ply, so it should be better to withstand the mesquite thorns than 2-ply. The tires were for a lawn tractor, and with the Turf name, I thought they would be similar to the originals. They are about 1.5 inches more narrow, so the 10.00 width is misleading. I think they would be excellent for a garden tractor as the tread is a little deeper and more aggressive. For our rural location, I like these tires. I tried to upload a photo (890k) but this review site states that the time limit has been exceeded. I tried several times, so will no longer waste time on Walmart reviews.

They look nice, but they don't fit. I couldn't get them on, so I took them to a lawn mower repair shop that has one of those tire mounting machines for this size of tire, and they couldn't get the tire to pop up on the shoulder of the rim. It is the same size as the tire we took off, but when you measure the hole, it is clearly smaller, and that is why it wouldn't seal up. I returned them. NOT RECOMMENDED.

First off, thanks WM, for setting an expectation of Friday delivery and getting it here on Thursday. I check orders obsessively. These are square-shouldered tires that I purchased to replace the crappy, 2-ply factory tires ("the best-selling lawn tractor tires in America"). They are 4-ply, look and ride great, and are an upgrade from the 20x8-8 tires that shipped on my 2013 Cub Cadet LTX1050. I wanted the extra two inches of tread to eliminate the uneasy feeling I always had on a slight lateral grade in parts of my yard. Job done. Two points: I saw a lot of reviews that complained about fit, that they might be too small for the 8-inch rims. The spec is the spec. These are 20 inches across, 10-inch tread, fit an 8-inch wheel. Also, after seeing so many who had difficulty mounting these tires, I took mine to the farm supply store where I bought the Cub. For $32, the job was done right, the old were recycled, new stems, and 30 minutes of my time (including the drive) was well worth it. Green Ball tires were not found in any of the online reviews of tires I researched, but I am very well pleased with the purchase. Highly recommend.

Delivery was on time, tire works fine, but was a super pain in the behind to seat the bead because weight stacked on top of tire for long periods causes it to cave in the middle all around.

Impossible to get the bead to seal. I had to take it to a tire shop and they charged me $12. The tire was deformed from what I believe was from shipping. Not from UPS or fedex but from being on a pallet from China.

Great tire for the price but difficult to seat the beads after getting on the rim due to the tires being compressed from shipping.

Tire was used only once so far as I just got it last week. A bit difficult to get the bead set but it works like it’s supposed to.
