This mattress truly is Extra Firm, offering a level of support that ensures a restful night's sleep. From the moment I lay down, I can feel the firmness contouring to my body, reducing discomfort on my pressure points and spine. As a result, I find myself waking up feeling more rested and rejuvenated than ever before. One of the most noticeable improvements I've experienced with this mattress is the significant reduction in tossing and turning throughout the night. The firmness of the Beauty Rest mattress eliminates any sinking sensation, preventing me from constantly readjusting my sleeping position. We love this mattress so far in regards to the comfort aspect. It is extra firm but not hard and unyielding. However it makes a creaking groaning type sound as you get in and out of it. So much so that it will wake my wife up at times. The delivery guy said that it has to have a break in period to work that out of it. He also said the reason you might not hear it in the showroom is because it has been demo-ed by so many people that its all worked out. But we ordered it online without going into the showroom. (Our Bad) Well we will find out.

I'm really impressed with how sturdy and well made the mattress is. It is a firm mattress, but it also offers some flexibility. My husband is a back sleeper with some lower lumbar issues, and he finds the mattress to be very comfortable as it helps to keep his body more aligned. I am a side sleeper, and I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable I also find this mattress. It is not nearly as stiff as I anticipated. Aside from the wonderful support; my favorite features are the cooling technology and the motion isolation. I am always hot during the night, and the cooling technology really helps keep me much more comfortable and well rested. I actually found that I am not tossing and turning as much as I used to. The motion isolation ensures that neither of us is bothered by the other's movements, and allows for a better nights sleep. Overall, I think this a great mattress for anyone looking for extra support with added comfort.

Like many adults, back pain and general soreness can make it hard to get a good nights sleep and a firm mattress makes all the difference. Unfortunately the last firm mattress purchased online was a fiasco; yes it was firm but more like a foundation than mattress. I ended up having to purchase another mattress and went with a medium which never really did the job either. Fast forward to this; right from the beginning it felt like a better purchase because it wasn't rolled up in a box that required having to expand for 24-48 hrs....it was shipped and ready to go as a full mattress. Next, it's firm but forgiving; perfectly providing support but not hardness. The same for the sizing; thick but not absurd so sheets still fit but without having to wrestle them on/off. If you have back pain or sleep issues, try this one out. It's not hot like some of the full foam mattress types, it's not a brick but provides comfortable support.

1st Night Sleep a 10!! Somewhat higher than I wanted but after sleeping on it, ok with height. Prbly didn't need foundation or should have got low profile but foundation came with this model. I will say it took forrevver doing my research amd reading reviews. This is not firm but a soft med firm, so comfortable. My back soreness will tell the tale! Helped a lot the 1st night! I could hardly walk without a lot of pain. Good luck!

I didn’t think that a good mattress is so important for your entire day (and night of course!) until I slept on this one. What a difference it has made! I sleep so well, I feel well rested every morning, my day becomes even better because of that. It’s got an antimicrobial performance layer that works to keep my sleep temperature ideal! This is a very well designed mattress for people like myself who prefer to sleep on the stomach and back, I love it! I would highly recommend giving it a try.
