I have used Dove antiperspirant for well over 10 years. Loved it. Recently I purchased Dove for men antiperspirant with long-lasting citrus scent. If this is the only option still available the next time that I purchase antiperspirant, I will be trying another brand. The scent is distracting and disgusting. I am very disappointed in this product change. I am leaning toward throwing it away rather than using it.

Don't know that these people are talking about when they say it smells bad. It doesn't. It actually smells great and I made the switch from Degree to Dove because of how good this smells and how well it preforms when at work and at the gym where you're really sweating. I even got the whole Hair and Body wash set. Great product Dove! Keep up the good work!

I bought a two pack seeing the extra fresh antiperspirant that I've used for 5-10 years thinking it was the same thing I've been using!! But no, it was this new formula crap that smells like citrus pine sol pina colada. It's horrible. I'm throwing both away, as I can't stand the smell. Horrible choice Dove. Bring back the old formula

while this product claims to have a powerful and long lasting protection i have found it be profoundly under powered barely making it though an 8 hour work day. i've used the mens care deodorant right out the shower and found myslf with embarassing under arm before the end of the day:(

I used to buy Extra Fresh scented Dove mens products until now... They changed the formula for some unknown reason, and with that the scent changed... it's AWFUL now. Terrible. So bad, I had to go home mid-day from work to wash it off it is so repulsive. It used to be a basic, fresh citrus scent... now it's like some kind of rotting coconut smell. Terrible. Lost a customer with this one, Dove.

Newer 72 hour has a really bad scent, I had to switch to another brand it was so bad, go back to the Dove 48 hour scent that was the best smelling scent out there! or sell both the 78 hour and the 48 hour..I searched every where for the Dove 48 hour Extra fresh and can't find it...Dove let there customers down by this newer 78 hour that stinks, my wife even hates the smell of it..I had to throw it away smells that bad...Men don't care if the 72 hour lasts longer the the 48 hour.

I have used Dove solid deodorant / antiperspirant "Fresh Scent" for many years. It WAS one of the few deodorants that I've found that was long lasting, blocked odor & sweat, didn't have an overly strong perfume smell and didn't irritate my skin. That is no longer the case. The new "Fresh Scent" with Citrus is absolutely awful. The new citrus scent is over powering and gives me a headache. And my wife told me I smelled like a cheap, citrus gas station car air freshener and refused to be in the same room with me. I can't say that I blame her. Why would a grown man want to smell like citrus perfume? I have no idea. So, I bid you farewell Dove Deodorant. Your former loyal customer

I currently use the Dove for me shampoo and am very satisfied with that, but I have to say I am disappointing with the deodorant. I like to smell and the applicator, but it wears out before the end of day. Also, the stick depletes quickly. There are other products out there that are more effective and longer lasting both in the pit and the dispenser.

I've been wearing this since at least 2013 and realized the sticks in my recent order have a very strong smell. I thought I bought the wrong one -- or used my wife's -- but I checked my old orders and the name is the same. This new formula has such a strong smell that I'll need to find a new product. Please bring back the previous formula.

I used this stuff (fresh scent) for years because after extensive searching I found something that would not break me out and itch continuously. I just got the *new* stuff. first thing I noticed is it does not smell the same. second is I'm itching and breaking out.. Thanks!, now I have to search for a new Deodorant after all these years Garbage.. why change what is working.
