We had lots of fun with this build. In the end it looks really good and is a great addition. The price point is a tiny bit too much for the brick count (still worth it though). We also find the weight balance is off a bit too, it fell over a couple times. All and all, this was great :)

The LEGO Piranha Plant Set #71426 is an absolute delight! It was a fun and quick build, perfect for an afternoon project. The playability is fantastic, especially with the interactive coin drop feature that adds a lot of excitement. As a display piece, it looks fantastic and can be molded into your favorite position, adding versatility to its charm. "Here we go!" This set is a must-have for any Super Mario fan!

I have to say when I saw the piece size for this set I was discouraged. Building the NES, Question Mark Block and The Mighty Bowser, I was ready for a 2,000 + piece set. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of character and stature of this piece. I like the idea of mid size 18+ Mario sets. This is spot on and looks incredible next to my Question Mark Block. The coin prints that dispense out of the pipe add a cool play feature too. Watch those fangs though this plant doesn't mess around!

The only flaw is the top red part of the piranha plant is only connected to the rest with a very small piece. And the top piece is quite heavy, definitely too heavy to be held on by essentially a 1x1, I've had it disconnect and fall apart at the connection point multiple times when trying to play with and position the plant. Speaking of weight, for the brief moments the plant is able to have its mouth pointed up, it does not stay upright due to its weight and the way it is attached to the stem. With these restrictions, it is more so a pretty display piece than a playable toy

The title is a joke. I'm quite aware Piranha Plants originated in Super Mario Bros. That being said, this was a very fun build. Not too long, not to short but that Goldilocks figure of "just right". It's also quite aesthetically pleasing to look at, what with all its smooth surface area. It also makes a very nice companion piece to The Mighty Bowser.

We are super mario family fan. Glad I can share my childhood games with my kids in Lego and in games. The only thing I have with this set it's head heavy and it tip over one time and the head explode. No biggy! Got the apps and put back in no time. ❤️
